The Eagles activated TE Dallas Goedert (knee) from IR. Philadelphia will rest most starters in Sunday's meaningless finale vs. the Giants, but it looks like they'll get Goedert at least some playing time for the first time since Week 13. Goedert still isn't a viable Week 18 fantasy play.

Eagles QB Jalen Hurts (concussion) is out for Sunday's game vs. the Giants. He should be cleared in time to play in next week's Wild Card game. RB Saquon Barkley and WRs A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith are listed as doubtful. They won't play in this meaningless game. TE Dallas Goedert (knee) is not listed on the final injury report and could get a few snaps in this one to knock off some rust. We'd still avoid him in Week 18 fantasy lineups. QB Kenny Pickett (ribs) is listed as questionable but didn't practice all week. We're expecting QB Tanner McKee to get the start. RB Will Shipley (concussion) is listed as questionable but was a full-go in the final two practices of the week. He should be cleared for this one and figures to operate as Philadelphia's lead back.

We doubt he plays in Sunday's meaningless regular-season finale vs. the Giants, but Goedert should be ready to go for Round 1 of the playoffs. He averaged 5.6 targets, 4.8 catches, and 55 yards in eight healthy games this season -- although a huge chunk of that production came in a 170-yard outing against the Saints in Week 3 with WR A.J. Brown out.

The Eagles are placing TE Dallas Goedert on IR with his knee injury, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. That knocks Goedert out through Week 17, so he can be dropped from all redraft rosters. "The plan is for him to be back at full speed heading into the playoffs," Rapoport adds.
