The Eagles have agreed to a two-year extension with RB Saquon Barkley, according to multiple reports. The deal reportedly tacks onto the two years remaining on his current deal, keeping Barkley with the team through 2028. Barkley gets $36 million guaranteed at signing, an average value of $20.6 million per year, and another $15 million available via incentives.

The Eagles named Kevin Patullo their new OC. He replaces Kellen Moore, who took the Saints' HC job earlier this month. Patullo has no play-calling experience at any level but has been with the Eagles since HC Nick Sirianni took over in 2021, serving as passing game coordinator and adding the associate HC title for the past two years. Patullo has been "an integral part of the transition between OCs the past few years and a trusted part of Nick Sirianni’s coaching staff," according to NFL Network's Mike Garafolo. It's a continuity hire by the Eagles. Expect the 2025 offense to look similar to 2024's in terms of play design and run/pass split -- although Patullo's lack of experience adds some downside to the situation.

Eagles RB Saquon Barkley, WR A.J. Brown, and WR DeVonta Smith are inactive for today’s game vs. the Giants. QB Jalen Hurts (concussion) was already ruled out of this meaningless game.
