Jahmyr Gibbs is Recession Proof
The most-discussed aspect of Detroit's Sunday night loss at Philadelphia appears to be the strong performance by the Eagles defense, followed closely by complaints about the officiating and insults hurled at Jalen Hurts' passing. But the biggest offensive star of the minimally offensive 16-9 game was easily RB Jahmyr Gibbs. He rushed just 12 times for 39 yards (3.3 per rush), Gibbs' second lackluster rushing performance among the past three games. But he racked up a career-high 107 receiving yards on a team-high 5 catches. Gibbs' eight targets ranked second on the team. His 28 pass routes ranked third and tied his season high, set back in Week 1.
