One week after scoring exactly zero fantasy points, Cleveland Browns WR Jerry Jeudy finally had a solid fantasy outing--after the vast majority of fantasy managers had benched him. Taking advantage of a new-look Jets' defense that traded off their top run stopper and coverage CB, Jeudy caught 6 balls for a season-high 78 yards and scored his first TD of the season. However, it wasn't enough as the Browns handed the Jets their second win of the season by allowing a pair of special teams TDs in a 27-20 loss.

The Browns are releasing WR Diontae Johnson, according to NFL Network. It'd been trending this way for most of August for Johnson, who was not good in training camp.

Browns TE Harold Fannin was held out of Saturday's preseason game, alongside QB Joe Flacco, WR Jerry Jeudy, TE David Njoku and a bunch of other presumed starters. "All are primed for starting or significant roles," ESPN's Daniel Oyefusi tweeted.

The Athletic's Zac Jackson writes that the Browns' pass-catching corps outside of WR Jerry Jeudy and TE Harold Fannin has underwhelmed in camp. Jackson specifically mentions WR Diontae Johnson as a disappointment.

Browns WR Cedric Tillman (concussion) is out for Monday night's game vs. the Broncos. He didn't practice all week, which is surprising considering he's now nine days removed from his concussion. We'll see if he can get cleared for next weekend's game vs. the Steelers. Tillman's absence this week figures to leave Jamari Thrash as Cleveland's No. 3 WR. We could see more 2-TE sets with Jordan Akins on the field for the Browns. Ultimately, Tillman's absence just means added target upside for WR Jerry Jeudy, WR Elijah Moore, and TE David Njoku.

Rookie WR Jamari Thrash was the primary replacement for Tillman last week but would be a desperation fantasy start. Tillman’s absence should mean more targets for WR Jerry Jeudy, WR Elijah Moore, and TE David Njoku.
