Raheem Mostert Fantasy Football News | Shark Bites

Shark Bites are the latest fantasy football news & NFL updates. Draft Sharks has been in business since 1999. And when we started, redraft was the dominant form of fantasy football. Check out what we've learned about this most basic form of fantasy football along the way.

Dolphins RB Jeff Wilson (hip) is listed as questionable for Saturday night's game vs. the Bills. He got in just a limited practice on Thursday. Wilson would be a shaky fantasy play if he ends up suiting up on Saturday. If not, Raheem Mostert should handle the vast majority of the backfield work for Miami.

Dolphins RB Jeff Wilson (hip) remained sidelined on Wednesday. We'll see if he's able to practice tomorrow, but we're not expecting Wilson to play vs. the Bills on Saturday night.

Dolphins RB Jeff Wilson (hip) did not practice on Tuesday. HC Mike McDaniel labeled him "day-to-day" on Monday, but Wilson certainly seems to be in danger of missing Saturday night's game vs. the Bills. We'll update his status again tomorrow.

Dolphins RB Jeff Wilson is "day-to-day" with the hip injury he suffered in Sunday night's loss to the Chargers, HC Mike McDaniel said. "We have avoided the worst case scenarios for sure," McDaniel said. That's good news -- but we'd still consider Wilson iffy for Saturday night's game vs. the Bills. We'll track his status throughout the week. Wilson's absence would obviously be good news for RB Raheem Mostert's fantasy outlook.

The Dolphins have ruled RB Jeff Wilson Jr. out for the rest of tonight's game against the Chargers because of a hip injury. That leaves RB Raheem Mostert to lead the backfield. We'll see about Wilson's status heading into next Saturday night's visit to Buffalo.

Dolphins RB Raheem Mostert (knee) practiced all week, including a full workout on Friday, and isn’t listed on the final injury report. He’ll be back for Sunday’s game vs. the 49ers but figures to work behind RB Jeff Wilson. In their last game together, Wilson out-carried Mostert 17 to 8 and out-targeted him 5 to 4.

Dolphins RB Raheem Mostert (knee) remained limited in Thursday's practice. We're tentatively expecting him to return for this weekend's game vs. the 49ers, but we'll get another update on Mostert's status tomorrow.

Dolphins RB Raheem Mostert (knee) was limited in Wednesday's practice. He got in just a limited practice last Friday before missing the Texans game. HC Mike McDaniel has seemed optimistic about Mostert's chances of returning for Sunday's game vs. the 49ers, but we'll keep an eye on him over the next few days.

Dolphins RB Jeff Wilson found the end zone in a Week 12 win over Houston. He underwhelmed with only 52 total yards against the Texans’ league-worst run defense. Still, the result — which came with Raheem Mostert sidelined — was just fine for fantasy managers. Wilson did depart this game with what was believed to be cramping, but he later returned. Week 13 turns up a meeting with his former team, the 49ers. We tentatively expect Mostert to make it back for that one, but Wilson should remain the backfield leader.

Dolphins RB Raheem Mostert (knee) is inactive for today’s game vs. the Texans. That leaves Jeff Wilson as Miami’s clear lead back in a dream matchup. He’s a RB1 play today. RBs Salvon Ahmed and Myles Gaskin are active behind Wilson.

Dolphins RB Raheem Mostert (knee) is listed as doubtful for this weekend’s game vs. the Texans after getting in just a limited practice on Friday. HC Mike McDaniel confirmed that Mostert has an “uphill battle” to play on Sunday. His absence would leave Jeff Wilson as Miami’s clear lead back against the league’s #32 RB defense.

Dolphins RB Raheem Mostert (knee) missed his 2nd straight practice on Thursday. He now looks extremely iffy for this weekend's game vs. the Texans. Mostert's absence would leave RBs Salvon Ahmed and Myles Gaskin behind lead back Jeff Wilson.

Dolphins RB Raheem Mostert (knee) did not practice on Wednesday. We don't have any details on the knee issue, but it's a concern considering Mostert's injury history and the fact that Miami is coming off a bye. We'll see if he's able to get back on the field tomorrow, ahead of Sunday's game vs. the Texans.

Dolphins RB Jeff Wilson played ahead of RB Raheem Mostert in Week 10. The new arrival handled 61% of the snaps and 52% of the rush attempts, equating to 17 carries (vs. 8 for Mostert). Both guys found the end zone and averaged 7.0+ YPC against a broken Cleveland run D. In 2 games as a Dolphin, Wilson has now racked up 31 touches, 215 yards and a pair of scores. He’ll be an upside RB2 the next time he takes the field — Week 12 vs. an awful Houston run D.

The Dolphins split RB touches close to 50/50 in a Week 9 win over Chicago. Raheem Mostert totaled 9 carries and 2 targets; new Dolphin Jeff Wilson handled 9 carries and 3 targets. Mostert scored on the ground from 1 yard out, while Wilson scored on a 10-yard reception out of the backfield. Look for a workload split to remain in place going forward, making both guys low-end RB2s/FLEXs for the road ahead.

The Dolphins have acquired RB Jeff Wilson from the 49ers in exchange for a 2023 5th-round pick. He’ll immediately slot in as the #2 back following today's trade of Chase Edmonds. Like Raheem Mostert, Wilson joins the squad with experience alongside HC Mike McDaniel. The new Dolphin is a poor bet for standalone fantasy value, but he carries handcuff appeal in Miami’s dynamic offense.
