Cardinals WR Xavier Weaver (hamstring) is inactive for today’s game vs. the Rams. He joins WRs Marvin Harrison Jr. and Greg Dortch on the sidelines. WR Michael Wilson and TE Trey McBride should dominate Cardinals targets today.

        Greg Dortch To IR

        9:30pm UTC 12/6/25

Cardinals WR Greg Dortch (chest) has been placed on IR. He was already ruled out for Sunday's game vs. the Rams but will now miss at least another three games beyond that. WR Marvin Harrison Jr. (heel) is also out for Week 14, while WR Xavier Weaver (hamstring) is iffy after missing Friday's practice. Arizona elevated WRs Trent Sherfield and Jalen Brooks from the practice squad. They figure to join Michael Wilson and Andre Baccellia as the Cardinals' top four WRs against the Rams. Wilson and TE Trey McBride should dominate targets.

Greg Dortch Out For Week 14

        11:12pm UTC 12/5/25

Arizona Cardinals WR Greg Dortch (chest) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Rams. Dortch suffered the injury in last week's loss to the Buccaneers and was unable to practice all week. The Cardinals will also be without No. 1 WR Marvin Harrison (heel), leaving them short-handed against the Rams. Michael Wilson and Trey McBride should see ample targets in this game. Wilson is now a fringe WR1 in our Week 14 WR rankings. Xavier Weaver (hamstring) didn't practice on Friday, leaving Andre Baccellia as the only other healthy WR on the roster. Tent Sherfield, Jalen Brooks, and Brittan Golden are options on Arizona's practice squad.

Marvin Harrison Out Week 11, Maybe Longer, After Appendicitis

        4:47pm UTC 11/12/25

Cardinals WR Marvin Harrison underwent surgery for appendicitis and will be out for Sunday's game against the 49ers and potentially longer, according to both NFL Network's Ian Rapoport and ESPN's Adam Schefter. We'll look for a more concrete target for Harrison's return, but he's worth keeping stashed in all fantasy leagues for now.

Jacoby Brissett To Start Week 9, Kyler Murray To Have A Role?

        4:17pm UTC 11/1/25

Cardinals QB Jacoby Brissett will start Monday night's game vs. the Cowboys, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. QB Kyler Murray, who has been limited in practice this week, is "making progress" in his recovery from his sprained foot and "could have a role" against Dallas. We hear about teams potentially playing two QBs every so often -- and it rarely actually happens. We're projecting Brissett to play every snap in this cushy matchup, making him a strong QB2 and even a low-end spot-starter in 1-QB leagues. The news doesn't tangibly impact either WR Marvin Harrison Jr. or TE Trey McBride. Both guys are strong Week 9 starts.

Jacoby Brissett Expected To Start Week 7

        6:15pm UTC 10/18/25

The Cardinals are "planning to start" QB Jacoby Brissett vs. the Packers tomorrow, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. That's the vibe we've gotten all week, with Murray remaining limited in practice. Brissett played well against a banged-up Colts secondary last week, throwing for 320 yards and two TDs. But he faces a much tougher test this weekend vs. the Packers. Brissett is just a low-end QB2 in fantasy lineups, although he doesn't project as a huge downgrade from Murray for WR Marvin Harrison Jr. and TE Trey McBride

        3:31pm UTC 10/12/25

Cardinals QB Kyler Murray (foot) is inactive for today’s game against the Colts. NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport said Saturday night that Murray could miss more than just this game with a mid-foot sprain. We’ll track his status this coming week. QB Jacoby Brissett gets the start today. He’s a downgrade for the offense, but TE Trey McBride remains a must-start, while WR Marvin Harrison Jr. remains a fine lower-end fantasy play.

Kyler Murray Likely To Miss Week 6

        1:32am UTC 10/12/25

A final decision on QB Kyler Murray (foot) will come on Sunday, but the Cardinals are "preparing" for QB Jacoby Brissett to start vs. the Colts, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. Murray is dealing with a mid-foot sprain that kept him to just a limited practice on Friday this week. "There is a possibility Murray is out more than this week, as pushing it can cause an aggravation," Rapoport adds.

Kyler Murray Questionable For Week 6

        8:15pm UTC 10/10/25

Cardinals QB Kyler Murray (foot) is listed as questionable for this weekend’s game against the Colts. He only got in a limited practice on Friday. HC Jonathan Gannon said Friday morning that the team needs to see how Murray progresses over the next couple of days before determining his availability for this one. His rushing ability figures to be impacted if he does suit up, which would leave Murray as a shaky Week 6 fantasy play. QB Jacoby Brissett would draw the start if Murray can’t go. It’d be a significant downgrade for WR Marvin Harrison Jr. and TE Trey McBride.

        Kyler Murray Out Again Thursday

        7:35pm UTC 10/9/25

Cardinals QB Kyler Murray (foot) missed his second straight practice on Thursday. He played through this injury last week but seems to be in real danger of missing Sunday's game vs. the Colts. We'll see if Murray practices on Friday and then how he's listed on the final injury report. If Murray can't go, Arizona would turn to QB Jacoby Brissett. He started the first five games of last season for the Patriots, completing just 58.5% of his passes at 5.2 yards per attempt. Brissett would be a tangible downgrade for WR Marvin Harrison Jr. and TE Trey McBride.

        Trey McBride Staying Quietly Steady

        4:59pm UTC 10/6/25

If you drafted Cardinals TE Trey McBride anywhere inside the first three rounds, then his five-game start might feel a little disappointing. McBride sits tied for seventh in PPR points per game so far, matching the one drive that George Kittle played in the opener before landing on IR with a hamstring injury. Sunday's loss to the Titans marked McBride's low point -- literally. It was the first time this season he finished a game with fewer than 12 PPR points. But McBride still managed on solid 5 catches (tied for the team lead) on a team-high seven targets. He has caught 5+ balls in every game ... and continued to have trouble finding the end zone.
