Shark Bites are the latest fantasy football news & NFL updates. Draft Sharks has been in business since 1999. And when we started, redraft was the dominant form of fantasy football. Check out what we've learned about this most basic form of fantasy football along the way.
Titans WR DeAndre Hopkins (toe) is active for tonight's game vs. the Steelers. He was listed as questionable after missing practice on Wednesday, but we've heard nothing to suggest that the toe will be a significant issue tonight. We're expecting Hopkins to play his usual role. See where he sits in the Week 9 WR Rankings.
Titans WR DeAndre Hopkins (toe) is expected to play vs. the Steelers tonight, according to NFL Network's Tom Pelissero. We're guessing his absence on Wednesday was more of a rest day on the short week, but we'll look for further updates on Hopkins' status ahead of kickoff tonight.
Titans WR DeAndre Hopkins (toe) is questionable for Thursday night's game vs. the Steelers. He was listed as a limited participant on Monday and Tuesday but did not practice on Wednesday. It's unclear if he hurt that toe this week or if he's just getting some rest on the short week. We'll look for further updates on Hopkins and will get Tennessee's inactives around 7 pm ET tomorrow.
Titans WR DeAndre Hopkins hauled 4 of 6 targets for 128 receiving yards and 3 TDs in Week 8’s win vs. the Falcons. The veteran connected well with rookie QB Will Levis and recorded his second 120+-yard performance over the past three games. As long as Hopkins isn’t dealt ahead of Tuesday’s NFL trade deadline, he’ll be a quality WR2 option against a porous Steelers defense in Week 9.
Titans QB Ryan Tannehill (ankle) is out for Sunday’s game vs. the Falcons. HC Mike Vrabel said early in the week that he’d use both QB Will Levis and QB Malik Willis in this one, but NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport said Wednesday that Levis will be the “primary QB.” Regardless, you should try to avoid the entire Titans passing game in fantasy lineups this week.
Titans WR DeAndre Hopkins snagged 8 receptions for 140 yards on 11 targets in Sunday's loss to the Colts. He drew a target on 31.4% of Tennessee pass attempts, claimed 34.8% of the team's receptions, and accounted for 53% of the receiving yards. The numbers marked high points for Hopkins in receptions and yards with the Titans, while QB Ryan Tannehill matched his season high in pass attempts from Week 1. Missing WR Treylon Burks (knee) certainly didn't hurt Hopkins' role, but he has easily led the team's receiving through five games.
Titans WR Treylon Burks (knee) is out for Sunday's game vs. the Colts. He's yet to practice since hurting his knee on September 27. WR DeAndre Hopkins is a good bet to dominate Titans targets this weekend.
Titans WR DeAndre Hopkins snagged 4 of 6 targets for 63 yards in Sunday’s win vs. the Bengals. Teammate Nick Westbrook-Ikhine hauled in a TD in the contest to go along with 5 catches and 51 yards of his own. Despite WR Treylon Burks missing Week 4, TE Chigoziem Okonkwo didn’t factor into the passing game very much. He only saw 3 targets turn into 5.9 PPR points. Next up for the Titans is a Week 5 matchup vs. the Colts.
Titans WR Treylon Burks (knee) has been ruled out for Sunday's game vs. the Bengals. It looks like he injured his knee in Wednesday's practice, but we don't have any other details. Burks' absence leaves Nick Westbrook-Ikhine as Tennessee's No. 2 WR and boosts WR DeAndre Hopkins' target projection.
Update: HC Mike Vrabel said after Friday's practice that Burks is only expected to be sidelined about a week. This knee injury isn't related to the LCL sprain he suffered in mid-August.
Titans WR DeAndre Hopkins is not listed on the Week 4 injury report. He's been bothered by an ankle injury the past two weeks but is evidently healthy heading into Sunday's game vs. the Bengals. Hopkins posted a 7-65-0 line on 13 targets in Week 1, the last time he was off the injury report.
Titans WR DeAndre Hopkins (ankle) is active for today’s game vs. the Browns. He went from a full practice on Wednesday to a limited practice on Thursday and then no practice on Friday. So it’s safe to assume that Hopkins is nowhere near 100% today. He managed just four catches for 40 scoreless yards playing through this ankle injury last week. See where Hopkins sits in the Week 3 WR Rankings.
Insider Jordan Schultz reports that Titans WR DeAndre Hopkins (ankle) will play vs. the Browns on Sunday. Hopkins is listed as questionable after missing Friday's practice, so it's safe to assume he won't be anywhere close to 100%. Hopkins' snaps were a bit limited by this injury last week, and he finished with just four catches on five targets for 40 yards. Consider him just a WR3 in Week 3 fantasy lineups.
Titans WR DeAndre Hopkins (ankle) is listed as questionable for this weekend's game vs. the Browns. He went from a full practice on Wednesday to a limited practice on Thursday and then no practice on Friday. Hopkins said Friday that he'll travel to Cleveland but wouldn't guarantee that he'll play. We'll watch for updates on his status and will get Tennessee's inactives around 11:30 am ET on Sunday. Hopkins managed just four catches for 40 scoreless yards playing through this ankle injury last week.
Titans WR Treylon Burks led the team in receiving with 76 yards, hauling in 3 of 4 targets. Teammate DeAndre Hopkins had a quiet effort with 4 catches on 5 targets for 40 yards. Considering how often Tennessee runs the ball, it’s going to be difficult to trust any Titans’ pass-catcher to have massive fantasy production. Managers in deep leagues can consider both as potential flex options in Week 3 vs. the Browns.
Titans WR DeAndre Hopkins (ankle) is active for today’s game vs. the Chargers. He didn’t practice all week, so Hopkins obviously carries elevated risk in fantasy lineups. See where he sits in the Week 2 WR Rankings.
Titans WR DeAndre Hopkins (ankle) is expected to play vs. the Chargers today, ESPN's Adam Schefter reports. Hopkins didn't practice all week, so it's safe to assume that he won't be at 100% today. That knocks him down to risk/reward WR3 status, although we haven't heard anything about him being on a snap count today.
Titans WR DeAndre Hopkins (ankle) is listed as questionable for Sunday’s game vs. the Chargers. He didn’t practice all week and was non-committal about his availability when talking to reporters on Friday. Fantasy owners can’t be counting on Hopkins at this point. We’ll look for updates on his status and will get Tennessee’s inactives around 11:30 am ET on Sunday. Hopkins’ absence would open up big opportunity for WR Treylon Burks and TE Chig Okonkwo.
Titans WR DeAndre Hopkins (ankle) missed his second straight practice on Thursday. We haven't heard anything about this ankle issue, so it's possible that Hopkins is just getting some mid-week rest. But check back tomorrow to see how he's listed on the final injury report for this weekend's game vs. the Chargers.
