Is it Time to Dump Xavier Worthy?

        5:35am UTC 11/17/25

Chiefs WR Xavier Worthy struggled again in the loss to the Broncos. He went 3-25-0 on 5 targets, outproduced by Hollywood Brown who went 4-40-0. Worthy hasn’t finished higher than PPR WR20 in any week and hasn’t topped WR40 in any week since Rashee Rice returned from suspension. Worthy simply isn’t startable in fantasy anymore.

Xavier Worthy Not Traveling for Sunday Night Game

        3:45pm UTC 9/20/25

The Chiefs have downgraded WR Xavier Worthy to out for Sunday night's game against the Giants, and he is not traveling with the team, according to multiple reports. Kansas City initially listed Worthy as questionable after a limited practice participation all week. But the team has clearly deemed the wideout not yet ready to play.

Hollywood Brown Reminds Us He's Not a No. 1 Receiver

        11:29am UTC 9/15/25

WR Marquise Brown led the Chiefs in receptions for the second straight game Sunday but managed only 5 receptions for 30 yards in the loss to the Eagles. His five targets tied WR Tyquan Thornton and TE Noah Gray for second on the team, one behind TE Travis Kelce. Brown also matched Thornton in total snaps (45) and pass routes (30), each running one more route than third WR JuJu Smith-Schuster.

Xavier Worthy Out For Week 2

        4:45pm UTC 9/13/25

Chiefs WR Xavier Worthy (shoulder) has been downgraded to out for Sunday's game vs. the Eagles. He was originally listed as doubtful after getting in limited practices on Thursday and Friday. Worthy was never going to play in this one, but it does seem like he has a shot to return for Week 3. His absence on Sunday leaves Marquise Brown as Kansas City's No. 1 WR -- and a top-25 play in the Week 2 WR rankings.

Xavier Worthy Doubtful For Week 2

        6:34pm UTC 9/12/25

Chiefs WR Xavier Worthy (shoulder) is listed as doubtful for Sunday’s game vs. the Eagles. He practiced on Thursday and Friday, and the fact that he’s not already ruled out bodes well for his chances of playing Week 3. But he’ll miss this weekend’s game, leaving Marquise Brown, JuJu Smith-Schuster, and Tyquan Thornton as Kansas City’s top 3 WRs. WR Jalen Royals (knee) is out.

Marquise Brown Ready For Week 1

        12:46am UTC 9/5/25

Chiefs WR Marquise Brown (ankle) was a full participant in practice all week and isn't listed on the final injury report for Friday night's opener vs. the Chargers. Brown missed about three weeks of training camp but has been back on the field since mid-August. He should be ready to play a significant Week 1 role for a Chiefs WR corps that will be without WRs Rashee Rice (suspension) and Jalen Royals (knee).

        Marquise Brown Has Resumed Running

        7:25pm UTC 8/11/25

Chiefs HC Andy Reid said Monday that WR Marquise Brown is "making progress" in his rehab and has resumed running, per Arrowhead Pride's Pete Sweeney. Reid also revealed that Brown's injury is "more in the ankle/foot area" than a high-ankle sprain. We still don't have a timetable for Brown's return, but the fact that he's running now should have him on track to be ready for Week 1. We'll keep you updated on his status.
