Kansas City initially listed Worthy as questionable after a limited practice participation all week. But the team has clearly deemed the wideout not yet ready to play.

WR Marquise Brown led the Chiefs in receptions for the second straight game Sunday but managed only 5 receptions for 30 yards in the loss to the Eagles. His five targets tied WR Tyquan Thornton and TE Noah Gray for second on the team, one behind TE Travis Kelce. Brown also matched Thornton in total snaps (45) and pass routes (30), each running one more route than third WR JuJu Smith-Schuster.

Chiefs WR Xavier Worthy (shoulder) is listed as doubtful for Sunday’s game vs. the Eagles. He practiced on Thursday and Friday, and the fact that he’s not already ruled out bodes well for his chances of playing Week 3. But he’ll miss this weekend’s game, leaving Marquise Brown, JuJu Smith-Schuster, and Tyquan Thornton as Kansas City’s top 3 WRs. WR Jalen Royals (knee) is out.

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports that Chiefs WR Xavier Worthy suffered a dislocated shoulder in Friday night's loss to the Chargers and is still seeking a second opinion on how to proceed. It's not yet clear how much time Worthy will miss.
