Fantasy Football News & Latest NFL Updates

Shark Bites are the latest fantasy football news & NFL updates. Draft Sharks has been in business since 1999. And when we started, redraft was the dominant form of fantasy football. Check out what we've learned about this most basic form of fantasy football along the way.

Chargers HC Brandon Staley said Wednesday that EDGE Joey Bosa is getting close to returning to the field. Might he make it back for this Sunday's matchup against the 49ers and his brother Nick? "I just know that he's back in the building," Staley told reporters. "He's not there for practice yet. We'll let you know when he's going to come back to practice. He is in good spirits. I think that we're getting closer to that practice point, just don't know exactly when that is going to be." That doesn't seem to point to Bosa being ready for Week 10. But he's worth stashing -- where it makes sense -- in IDP leagues now ahead of a potential Week 11 return. Bosa has been out since Week 3 with a groin injury that required surgery.

Bills LB Tremaine Edmunds (groin, heel), S Jordan Poyer (elbow) and EDGE Gregory Rousseau (ankle) all missed practice Wednesday. HC Sean McDermott called Edmunds and Poyer day-to-day afterward but deemed Rousseau week-to-week. That indicates Rousseau isn't likely to play Sunday against the Vikings. We'll see about the other 2. McDermott added that whether CB Tre'Davious White (ACL recovery) will be ready to play this week also remains a "day to day" situation.

Bills LB Matt Milano (oblique) put in a limited practice Wednesday. That at least gives him a chance to return this week after missing Sunday's loss to the Jets. We'll watch his status this week, both for IDP purposes and matchups for the Vikings offense.

Broncos WR K.J. Hamler (hamstring) was limited in Wednesday's practice. It's a new injury coming off the bye week. We'll keep an eye on Hamler over the next few days, but he shouldn't be in your Week 10 fantasy plans.

Chargers WR Keenan Allen (hamstring) remained sidelined for Wednesday's practice. HC Brandon Staley called him "day to day," but don't count on Allen returning for Sunday night's game vs. the 49ers.

Rams RB Malcolm Brown (hamstring) did not practice on Wednesday. Brown played 28% of Los Angeles' offensive snaps last week, finishing with 2 carries and 1 target. His absence vs. the Cardinals this weekend would be a very slight boost for RBs Darrell Henderson and Cam Akers.

Packers WR Sammy Watkins (knee) did not practice on Wednesday. WR Christian Watson (concussion) was a full participant, so he'll be available for this weekend's game vs. the Cowboys. Green Bay will be without WR Romeo Doubs (ankle) for that one. WR Allen Lazard is the only bankable fantasy play in this struggling passing game.

Packers RB Aaron Jones (ankle) got in a limited practice on Wednesday. He's tentatively expected to play vs. the Cowboys this weekend, but we'll get another update on his status tomorrow.

Cowboys RB Ezekiel Elliott (knee) put in a limited practice on Wednesday. He's tentatively expected to return for this weekend's game vs. the Packers, but we'll keep an eye on his progress over the next few days.

Raiders TE Darren Waller (hamstring) remained limited in Wednesday's practice. He was limited in practice all last week before missing the Jaguars game. We'll keep an eye on Waller's progress over the next few days, leading up to Sunday's game vs. the Colts.

Colts RB Jonathan Taylor (ankle) was limited in Wednesday's practice. That seemingly gives him a shot to return for this weekend's game vs. the Raiders. We'll see what Taylor does over the next couple of days. RB Deon Jackson (knee) did not practice on Wednesday.

Titans QB Ryan Tannehill (ankle) was limited in Wednesday's practice. He was limited last Wednesday and Friday before missing the Chiefs game, so this doesn't tell us much about his status for Sunday's game vs. the Broncos. We'll get another update on Tannehill tomorrow.

Broncos QB Russell Wilson is off the Week 10 injury report. The hamstring injury that cost him Week 7 shouldn't be a problem moving forward. We'll see if Wilson and the Denver offense can get on track coming out of the bye.

Saints WR Jarvis Landry (ankle) was limited in Wednesday's practice. He was limited last week before missing Monday night's game vs. the Ravens. We'll see if Landry can make it back for this weekend's game vs. the Steelers, but he shouldn't be in your fantasy plans.

Texans RB Dameon Pierce (chest, shoulder) was limited in Wednesday's practice. We haven't seen any concern about his status for Sunday's game vs. the Giants, but we'll keep an eye on Pierce over the next few days.

Texans WR Brandin Cooks (wrist) did not practice on Wednesday. He's expected to play vs. the Giants this weekend -- if his health allows it. Cooks played through this wrist injury in Week 8. We'll see if he's able to practice tomorrow. WR Nico Collins (groin) got in a limited practice on Wednesday.

Browns TE David Njoku (ankle) did not practice on Wednesday. He said earlier this week that he's hoping to return for Sunday's game vs. the Dolphins, but this isn't a good start. Check back tomorrow for another update on Njoku.

Chiefs WR Mecole Hardman (abdomen) did not practice on Wednesday. HC Andy Reid said Hardman is dealing with "abdominal soreness" and is still being evaluated. We'll see if he's able to get on the practice field tomorrow.

Jaguars TE Evan Engram (back) was limited in Wednesday's practice. He missed some time in the 2nd half of last week's win over the Raiders, but it looks like he'll at least be available for Sunday's game vs. the Chiefs. What Engram does over the next couple of days will determine how safe a Week 10 fantasy play he is.

Lions RB D'Andre Swift (ankle, shoulder) put in a limited practice on Wednesday. That's an improvement from last week, when Swift did not practice at all on Wednesday. We'll continue to monitor Swift's health over the next few days, leading up to Sunday's game vs. the Bears.
