Fantasy Football News & Latest NFL Updates

Shark Bites are the latest fantasy football news & NFL updates. Draft Sharks has been in business since 1999. And when we started, redraft was the dominant form of fantasy football. Check out what we've learned about this most basic form of fantasy football along the way.

As expected, Cowboys WR Michael Gallup (knee) was a full participant in Thursday's practice. He's on track to make his 2022 debut vs. the Giants on Monday night, but expect him to be on some type of snap count in his first game since last January's ACL tear.

Broncos WR Jerry Jeudy (rib, shoulder) missed practice again on Thursday. He's looking unlikely to play vs. the 49ers on Sunday night, but we'll see how he's listed on the final injury report tomorrow. WR K.J. Hamler (knee, hip) put in his 2nd straight limited practice on Thursday.

49ers TE George Kittle (groin) remained limited in Thursday's practice. We're tentatively expecting him to make his 2022 debut against the Broncos on Sunday night, but check back tomorrow for another update.

Bucs WRs Chris Godwin (hamstring) and Julio Jones (knee) remained sidelined on Thursday. They're both looking unlikely to play vs. the Packers this weekend. WR Scotty Miller (calf) was a full-go on Thursday; WR Breshad Perriman (knee) was limited.

Packers WRs Allen Lazard (ankle), Sammy Watkins (hamstring), Christian Watson (hamstring) and Randall Cobb (illness) all missed Thursday's practice. Lazard, Watson and Watkins were all limited on Wednesday, so it seems like this was a planned day off for guys that aren't quite at 100%. We'll know more when we get Green Bay's final injury report tomorrow.

Cardinals RB James Conner (ankle) returned to a limited practice on Thursday. That gives him a shot to play vs. the Rams this weekend. We'll get another update on his status tomorrow.

Chargers QB Justin Herbert (ribs) was limited again in Thursday's practice. He's seemingly in line to start this weekend's game vs. the Jaguars, but we'll see how he's listed on Friday's final injury report.

Chargers WR Keenan Allen (hamstring) got in his 2nd straight limited practice on Thursday. He's trending toward returning for this weekend's game vs. the Jaguars, but we'll get another update on his status tomorrow.

Raiders WR Hunter Renfrow (concussion) remained sidelined on Thursday. He's now looking like a long shot to play vs. the Titans this weekend. We'll see how Vegas replaces Renfrow's slot snaps. WRs Tyron Johnson and Keelan Cole are behind primary outside WRs Davante Adams and Mack Hollins.

Jets WR Corey Davis (knee) was added to Thursday's injury report and limited in practice. We'll have a better idea of his status for this weekend's game vs. the Bengals tomorrow. Davis' absence would be a boon to WRs Garrett Wilson and Elijah Moore.

Patriots WR Jakobi Meyers (knee) missed his 2nd straight practice on Thursday. His availability for this weekend's game vs. the Ravens is now officially in question. Check back tomorrow for another update on Meyer's Week 3 status.

Ravens QB Lamar Jackson (elbow) was listed as a full participant on Thursday. That presumably means he threw as he normally would. Jackson is on track to play vs. the Patriots on Sunday and seems safe to use you fantasy lineups.

Lions RB D'Andre Swift (ankle) returned to a limited practice on Thursday. He'll play vs. the Vikings this weekend. The question is if he'll be ready for something closer to a full workload than he got last week. We'll see what Swift does in Friday's practice and how he's listed on the final injury report.

Bills TE Dawson Knox (foot) returned to a limited practice on Thursday. He should be available for this weekend's game vs. the Dolphins but won't be at 100%.

Bills WR Gabriel Davis (ankle) was limited again in Thursday's practice. He told the media afterward that he's "100%" playing vs. the Dolphins this weekend, but we'll see how he's listed on the final injury report tomorrow afternoon.

Colts WR Michael Pittman (quad) remained limited in Thursday's practice. He seems on track to return for this weekend's game vs. the Chiefs, but we'll see how he's listed on the final injury report tomorrow.

Texans TE Brevin Jordan (ankle) missed his 2nd straight practice on Thursday. He's in danger of missing this weekend's game vs. the Bears. TE Pharaoh Brown also missed Thursday's practice with a shoulder issue. Houston might be down to O.J. Howard as its top TE on Sunday.

Saints RB Alvin Kamara (rib) remained limited in Thursday's practice. We're tentatively expecting him to return for this weekend's game vs. the Panthers but will get another update on his status tomorrow.

Panthers RB Christian McCaffrey was added to Thursday's injury report and limited in practice with an ankle. According to Darin Gantt of the team's official website, McCaffrey "had some stiffness" in the ankle but is still expected to play vs. the Saints on Sunday. We'll look for further updates on McCaffrey's status and will get another practice report tomorrow.

Cowboys QB Dak Prescott (thumb) was out on the practice field Thursday "gripping and throwing a training ball," according to insider Michael Gehlken. Prescott isn't taking snaps or throwing yet, but he's clearly progressing well from surgery to repair his fractured right thumb. Prescott has not been placed on IR, and the Cowboys reportedly believe he could return for Week 4 or 5. We're skeptical but will continue to keep a close eye on his status.
