Fantasy Football News & Latest NFL Updates

Shark Bites are the latest fantasy football news & NFL updates. Draft Sharks has been in business since 1999. And when we started, redraft was the dominant form of fantasy football. Check out what we've learned about this most basic form of fantasy football along the way.

Jaguars RB James Robinson (heel) is listed as questionable for this weekend’s game vs. the Colts. He got in limited practices on Thursday and Friday. We’re expecting Robinson to play, but you’ll need to check back around 11:30 am ET on Sunday to make sure he’s active.

Broncos OC Pat Shurmur is in COVID protocols and won't be available for Sunday's game against the Eagles, NFL Network's Tom Pelissero reports. Shurmur is Denver's offensive play-caller, so it's less-than-ideal for QB Teddy Bridgewater and Denver's skill-position guys.

Browns RBs Nick Chubb, Demetric Felton and John Kelly will miss this weekend's game vs. the Patriots on the COVID list, HC Kevin Stefanski said Friday. We'd expect Chubb back for Week 11 but will continue to keep tabs on his status. It'll be D'Ernest Johnson and Brian Hill, who was signed earlier this week, in Cleveland's backfield on Sunday. Johnson should handle the vast majority of the RB touches against New England's middling run defense. Johnson, of course, ran for 146 yards and a score on 22 carries vs. the Broncos back in Week 7.

Bills RB Zack Moss (concussion) is listed as questionable for this weekend’s game vs. the Jets. He got in limited practices on Thursday and Friday. The Athletic’s Joe Buscaglia notes that Moss was not wearing a non-contact jersey on Friday, so he seems to be making good progress through the protocol. We’ll see whether he can get full clearance in time for Sunday’s game. If not, Devin Singletary would be Buffalo’s clear lead back -- and a RB2 in fantasy lineups.

Bills TE Dawson Knox (hand) is not listed on the final injury report. He practiced all week, including full workouts on Thursday and Friday. We’re not expecting Knox to be limited in Sunday’s game vs. the Jets. He was sitting 4th among TEs in half-PPR points through Week 6.

Bills WR Cole Beasley (ribs) is not listed on the final injury report. He didn’t play much in the 4th quarter last week and was sidelined on Wednesday. But he got in limited practices on Thursday and Friday and is evidently good to go for this weekend’s plus matchup vs. the Jets.

Chiefs HC Andy Reid said Friday that it's "probably a stretch" for RB Clyde Edwards-Helaire (knee) to play vs. the Raiders on Sunday night. CEH got back on the practice field this week and looked good, according to Reid, but it sounds like he's targeting a Week 11 return. Kansas City would need to activate Edwards-Helaire by Saturday at 4 pm ET if he's going to play vs. Vegas, so we'll know for sure then. For now, it looks like Darrel Williams will get another game as lead back.

Washington HC Ron Rivera basically ruled TE Logan Thomas (hamstring) out for Sunday's game vs. the Bucs. "He’s just not ready to be put on the football field and that’s probably the biggest thing," Rivera said. "We have to be smart about that." Thomas reportedly experienced some soreness in that hamstring after practicing on Monday. We'll see if he can make it back for Week 11. Ricky Seals-Jones is again a low-end fantasy starter for Week 10.

Bills HC Sean McDermott said on 550 WGR Friday that MLB Tremaine Edmunds will miss Sunday's game against the Jets with a hamstring injury. Expect Tyrel Dodson to start in his place. CB Taron Johnson (concussion) is expected to play, though, after coming out of the league protocol Friday.

Bucs TE Rob Gronkowski (back) is out for Sunday's game vs. Washington. HC Bruce Arians said earlier this week that Gronk is 2-3 weeks away from being back to 100%. TEs Cameron Brate and O.J. Howard have basically been splitting work with Gronkowski out, leaving them both as just TE2s.

Bucs WR Antonio Brown (ankle) is out for Sunday's game vs. Washington. He at least shed his walking boot this week, but Brown's timetable for return remains uncertain.

11:51am EST 11/12/21

The Panthers placed QB Sam Darnold (shoulder) on IR. He'll miss at least the next 3 games but is expected to be sidelined for 4-6 weeks. Carolina gave QB Cam Newton $4.5 million guaranteed for the rest of this season, so don't be surprised if Darnold doesn't get the starting job back.

Bucs HC Bruce Arians labeled WR Chris Godwin a game-time decision with his foot injury. Arians also revealed that Godwin hurt the foot on a tackle in the loss to the Saints prior to the Week 9 bye. Godwin didn't practice on Wednesday or Thursday, and the Tampa media didn't see him out there for the start of Friday's practice. We'll see how he's listed on the final injury report later today.

Dolphins QB Jacoby Brissett injured his right knee in the 3rd quarter of Thursday night's game vs. the Ravens. That's forced QB Tua Tagovailoa onto the field, despite his left finger injury. We'll update Brissett's status when we know more.

Update: Brissett has been cleared to return, according to the NFL Network broadcast crew, but Tagovailoa is in the game.

Seahawks QB Russell Wilson admitted Thursday that his right middle finger still isn't back to 100%. "I feel great," Wilson said. "I feel really close. I'm not 100% yet, but I'm pretty dang close. I would say 90th percentile if not higher. I feel great. I've got great conviction about what I'm doing, how I'm doing it. My mindset is better than ever. I'm ready to roll and ready to go." Wilson said he's noticed the finger in practice this week but believes he can make every throw. He'll come with slightly elevated risk in his 1st game back vs. the Packers on Sunday.

Steelers RB Najee Harris was added to the injury report with a foot and limited in practice on Thursday. We don't have any other info right now. We'll see if Harris practices on Friday and how he's listed on the final injury report.

Colts WR T.Y. Hilton (concussion) put in a full practice on Thursday. He's on track to return for this weekend's game vs. Jacksonville. Hilton has played in just 2 games so far this season -- and he exited both early with injuries. He'd be tough to trust in Week 10 fantasy lineups.

Chargers WR Keenan Allen (knee) returned to a limited practice on Thursday. We're expecting him to play vs. the Vikings this weekend, but we'll get another update on his status tomorrow.

Bucs WR Chris Godwin (foot) missed practice again on Thursday. He's in real danger of missing Sunday's game vs. Washington. We'll see if Godwin practices tomorrow and how he's listed on the final injury report.

Bills RB Zack Moss (concussion) returned to a limited practice on Thursday. He's made some progress through the protocol, giving him a shot to be cleared in time for Sunday's game vs. the Jets. We'll get another update on his progress tomorrow.
