A.J. Brown OUT For Week 8

        8:14pm UTC 10/24/25

Eagles WR A.J. Brown (hamstring) has been ruled out for Sunday’s game vs. the Giants. This one came out of nowhere after Brown finished last week’s game – although he does have a lengthy history of hamstring trouble. The Eagles have a Week 9 bye, which might have played a part in the decision to sit Brown this week. His absence is a hit to QB Jalen Hurts’ fantasy outlook and should mean even more concentrated targets on WR DeVonta Smith and TE Dallas Goedert.

DeVonta Smith Racks Up Career-High Yardage

        9:27pm UTC 10/19/25

Eagles WR DeVonta Smith nabbed 9 receptions for 183 yards and a TD. The 79-yard score marked his longest career reception. And Smith's 11 targets led his nearest teammate (A.J. Brown) by five.

DeVonta Smith Capitalizes on Favorable Matchup

        3:43am UTC 10/6/25

The Broncos arrived to Sunday's matchup with a solid pass defense, ranking 12th in pass DVOA. But CB Pat Surtain II spent most of Week 5 tailing Eagles WR A.J. Brown, leaving WR DeVonta Smith to face CB Riley Moss in primary coverage. Smith combined that with a concerted Philly effort to get the passing game going and delivered a strong receiving day. Smith led the team in targets (10), receptions (8), and receiving yards (114). Philadelphia dropped Jalen Hurts back 45 times vs. just 10 team rushing attempts.

Eagles Forget WRs Exist in Win Over Bucs

        11:39am UTC 9/29/25

WR A.J. Brown finished Sunday's win over the Buccaneers with just 2 receptions for 7 yards. Unlike his quiet Week 1, though, the targets were there. Brown drew nine looks at Tampa, his third straight game with 8+. WR DeVonta Smith also managed just 2 catches for 29 yards. That came on a mere two targets. And there seems to be trouble brewing with the team's top two wideouts.

DeVonta Smith Scores Amid Passing Rebound

        11:04pm UTC 9/21/25

Devonta Smith delivered a strong 8-60-1 receiving line in Sunday's comeback win over the Rams. His nine targets trailed only WR A.J. Brown (by one) and accounted for 28% of Jalen Hurts' pass attempts for the game.

DeVonta Smith Navigates Injury, Offensive Struggles to Lead Receiving

        9:49am UTC 9/15/25

Eagles WR DeVonta Smith posted just 4 receptions and 53 yards in Sunday's win over the Chiefs. But that accounted for 52.5% of Philadelphia's receiving yardage in a game that saw Jalen Hurts throw for just 101. Smith's six targets ranked second (behind A.J. Brown's eight) and constituted 27.3% of Hurts' total pass attempts. Smith did appear to hurt his back early in the second half, visiting the blue medical tent after coming down hard on a reception attempt. He returned, though, and snagged a 28-yard fourth-quarter catch that helped seal the victory.

Dallas Goedert Out For Week 2

        8:05pm UTC 9/12/25

Eagles TE Dallas Goedert (knee) is out for Sunday’s game vs. the Chiefs. His injury reportedly isn’t serious, so we’ll see if he can make it back for Week 3. Goedert’s absence leaves Grant Calcaterra as Philadelphia’s likely lead TE, but he’d be a desperation fantasy play. WRs A.J Brown and DeVonta Smith both gain target upside with Goedert out. They've climbed the Week 2 WR rankings.

        12:54am UTC 9/12/25

Eagles TE Dallas Goedert (knee) missed his second straight practice on Thursday. He's looking unlikely to play vs. the Chiefs this weekend. Goedert's absence would leave Grant Calcaterra as Philadelphia's likely lead TE, but he'd be a desperation fantasy play. WRs A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith would gain target upside sans Goedert.

Jalen Hurts Dropped Back More Than His Numbers Indicate

        1:46pm UTC 9/5/25

Eagles QB Jalen Hurts finished Thursday night's win with the following numbers:

        • 19-of-23 passing for 152 yards, 0 TDs, 0 INTs
        • 14 carries, 62 yards, 2 TDs

Typical run-happy approach for a Philly offense that was heavily favored at home, right? Well, according to Pro Football Focus, nine of those 14 rushes came off dropbacks.

Dallas Goedert Leads Infuriating Target Distribution

        1:34pm UTC 9/5/25

TE Dallas Goedert led the Eagles with seven targets in Thursday night's win over the Cowboys and posted a 7-44 receiving line. He caught three more passes than his nearest teammate, accounting for these market shares:

        • 30.4% of targets
        • 36.8% of receptions
        • 28.9% of receiving yards

WR Jahan Dotson led the team in receiving yards (59), while RB Saquon Barkley ranked second in targets (five) and receptions (4).

Kevin Patullo Taking Over Eagles Offense

        3:31pm UTC 2/19/25

The Eagles named Kevin Patullo their new OC. He replaces Kellen Moore, who took the Saints' HC job earlier this month. Patullo has no play-calling experience at any level but has been with the Eagles since HC Nick Sirianni took over in 2021, serving as passing game coordinator and adding the associate HC title for the past two years. Patullo has been "an integral part of the transition between OCs the past few years and a trusted part of Nick Sirianni’s coaching staff," according to NFL Network's Mike Garafolo. It's a continuity hire by the Eagles. Expect the 2025 offense to look similar to 2024's in terms of play design and run/pass split -- although Patullo's lack of experience adds some downside to the situation.

Key Eagles Won't Play Week 18

        5:14pm UTC 1/3/25

Eagles QB Jalen Hurts (concussion) is out for Sunday's game vs. the Giants. He should be cleared in time to play in next week's Wild Card game. RB Saquon Barkley and WRs A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith are listed as doubtful. They won't play in this meaningless game. TE Dallas Goedert (knee) is not listed on the final injury report and could get a few snaps in this one to knock off some rust. We'd still avoid him in Week 18 fantasy lineups. QB Kenny Pickett (ribs) is listed as questionable but didn't practice all week. We're expecting QB Tanner McKee to get the start. RB Will Shipley (concussion) is listed as questionable but was a full-go in the final two practices of the week. He should be cleared for this one and figures to operate as Philadelphia's lead back.

Eagles Will Rest Starters Week 18

        12:56pm UTC 1/1/25

Eagles HC Nick Sirianni said Wednesday that he'll rest starters, including RB Saquon Barkley, in Sunday's finale vs. the Giants. The Eagles are locked in as the NFC's No. 2 seed. So Barkley won't have a chance to get the 101 rushing yards he needs to break Eric Dickerson's single-season record. But he'll be healthy heading into the playoffs. Don't expect QB Jalen Hurts or WRs A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith to play on Sunday, either. We'll see whether Kenny Pickett (ribs) or Tanner McKee starts at QB. Backfield duties figure to be handled by Kenneth Gainwell and Will Shipley.

Jalen Hurts Out For Week 17

        3:58pm UTC 12/27/24

Eagles QB Jalen Hurts (concussion, finger) has been ruled out for Sunday’s game vs. the Cowboys. QB Kenny Pickett (ribs) was limited in practice throughout the week but is off the final injury report and will get the start. That should mean a bit more passing volume for the Eagles, but a dip in efficiency. It projects as about a wash for WRs A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith.
