Falcons WR Drake London (hip) is off the final Week 9 injury report. Get him back in fantasy lineups against the Patriots’ 25th-ranked WR defense.
Falcons QB Michael Penix (knee) is off the final Week 9 injury report and will start Sunday’s game vs. the Patriots. It’s good news for Atlanta’s offense after what we saw from QB Kirk Cousins last week, but Penix is no better than a lower-end QB2 in fantasy lineups.
Falcons WR Drake London (hip) was limited in Wednesday's practice. HC Raheem Morris said London remains day to day but "feels good." We're tentatively expecting him back for this weekend's game vs. the Patriots but will keep you updated on his status leading up to that one.
Falcons HC Raheem Morris said Wednesday that he feels "really good" about QB Michael Penix's chances of playing vs. the Patriots this weekend, per ESPN's Adam Schefter. Penix remains "day to day" with the bone bruise in his knee, Morris added. We'll keeps tabs on his practice participation over the next few days. Penix has been inconsistent this season. But, after what we saw from QB Kirk Cousins last week, Penix's return would be good news for Atlanta's offense.
Falcons WR Drake London (hip) is INACTIVE for today’s game vs. the Dolphins. That leaves WR Darnell Mooney and TE Kyle Pitts as the clear top two targets in the passing game. Atlanta, of course, figures to lean heavily on the run in this one as big home favorites against a bad Miami run defense.
The Falcons will check on WR Drake London (hip) at the stadium this morning before deciding whether he'll play vs. the Dolphins, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. London was limited in Friday's practice and then added to the injury report as questionable on Saturday. We'll get Atlanta's inactives around 11:30 am ET. London clearly won't be at 100% if he ends up playing, but he'd still be tough to leave out of fantasy lineups.
Falcons WR Drake London (hip) has been downgraded to questionable for Sunday's game vs. the Dolphins. He was originally added to the injury report on Friday and limited in practice, but he was given no game designation at that point. It looks like the hip issue did not improve or got worse today. We'll look for more info on London's status and get Atlanta's inactives around 11:30 am ET tomorrow.
Falcons WR Darnell Mooney (hamstring) is listed as questionable for Sunday night’s game vs. the 49ers. He got in limited practices on Wednesday and Thursday but didn’t practice on Friday, which doesn’t bode well for his availability for this one. Mooney should be on fantasy benches this week. WR Ray-Ray McCloud has been ruled out for a personal matter. WR Drake London, TE Kyle Pitts, and RB Bijan Robinson should continue to dominate targets.
The Falcons have ruled WR Darnell Mooney out for Monday night's game against the Bills because of a hamstring injury. It'll be the first game Mooney has missed since the opener.
One week after being benched in the fourth quarter of Atlanta's 30-0 Week 3 loss in Carolina, Falcons' QB Michael Penix completed 20-of-26 passes for 313 yards, 2 TDs, and 1 INT in the team's 34-27 victory over the Washington Commanders.
Penix's 76.9% completion rate and 313 passing yards set new career-best marks for Penix.
Falcons QB Michael Penix Jr. totaled only 135 yards on 13 of 21 passing in a Week 2 win over the Vikings. Atlanta surprisingly won by 16 – 22 to 6 – as they rode the run game and their defense to a victory.
Falcons WRs Drake London (shoulder) and Darnell Mooney (shoulder) are off the final Week 2 injury report. Both guys practiced all week, including full workouts on Friday. London carries a bit more risk in Sunday night’s game vs. the Vikings, but he’d be impossible to leave out of fantasy lineups after drawing 15 targets in the opener. We’d try to keep Mooney on fantasy benches in his 2025 debut. The availability of both WRs dings TE Kyle Pitts’ Week 2 outlook.
Falcons WR Drake London (shoulder) will practice on Wednesday and is expected to play vs. the Falcons on Sunday night, HC Raheem Morris said Wednesday in a roundabout way. "That's not saying that he is," Morris said. "But when you ask me, 'Do I expect him to play?' Of course. Drake is an ultimate tough guy, and when he says he's going to practice, that tells you a lot." We'll continue to track London's status over the next few days, but getting out on the practice field on Wednesday is a good sign.
Falcons WR Drake London has been diagnosed with a shoulder sprain and is considered "day to day," according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. London is scheduled for more tests on the shoulder this week, but it sounds like he avoided an injury that would force a long-term absence. We'll look for a timetable for his return and track his practice participation this coming week.
Falcons WR Drake London injured a shoulder late in Sunday's game against the Buccaneers. He's officially questionable to return but isn't on the field as Atlanta looks to tie the game with under a minute left. We'll update London's status when we know more.
Falcons WR Darnell Mooney (shoulder) is inactive for today’s game vs. the Buccaneers. It’s a minor surprise after he put in three limited practices this week. Mooney doesn’t seem too far from a return, but his absence today leaves Atlanta thin on pass-catchers. Ray-Ray McCloud, KhaDarel Hodge, and Casey Washington will play behind alpha Drake London. TE Kyle Pitts could also pick up extra targets with Mooney out.
Falcons WR Darnell Mooney was back at practice for the first time since suffering his shoulder injury, according to Marc Raimondi of ESPN.
Falcons WR Darnell Mooney remains sidelined with the shoulder injury he suffered on July 24. HC Raheem Morris said Tuesday that Mooney is "week to week" with no clear timetable for return.
