Fantasy Football News & Latest NFL Updates

Shark Bites are the latest fantasy football news & NFL updates. Draft Sharks has been in business since 1999. And when we started, redraft was the dominant form of fantasy football. Check out what we've learned about this most basic form of fantasy football along the way.

Raiders CB Casey Hayward (ankle) is active for tonight's game against the Chargers.

Cardinals RB James Conner suffered a rib injury in the 4th quarter of Sunday's game vs. the Seahawks and is officially questionable to return. Arizona is already without RB Chase Edmonds and also lost RB Jonathan Ward to a knee injury today. RB Eno Benjamin is the last man standing.

Raiders TE Darren Waller (knee) is active for tonight’s game vs. the Chargers. It’ll be his first action since Week 12, adding risk to Waller’s fantasy profile. But there’s plenty of upside in the matchup vs. the #28 TE defense.

6:59pm EST 1/9/22

Raiders RB Josh Jacobs (ribs) is active for tonight’s game vs. the Chargers. He got in 3 limited practices this week and should be ready for his usual workload in this must-win game.

Saints QB Taysom Hill was knocked out of Sunday's game vs. the Falcons with what HC Sean Payton told Fox's Laura Okmin is a Lisfranc injury to his left foot. We'll look for more details, but that's an issue that'll likely keep Hill from playing in the playoffs if New Orleans gets there. Hill's absence would leave QB Trevor Siemian as the Saints' starter.

Jets WR Jamison Crowder aggravated his calf injury in the 1st half of Sunday's game vs. the Bills and is done for the day.

Panthers S Jeremy Chinn is inactive for today's game against the Buccaneers. He sustained an ankle injury in Saturday's practice. DT Derrick Brown is active after arriving questionable with an elbow issue.

Patriots S Adrian Phillips (knee) and DT Christian Barmore (knee) are active for today's game against the Dolphins, after entering the day questionable. LB Dont'a Hightower is inactive with his own knee injury.

3:10pm EST 1/9/22

Cardinals DE Zach Allen (ankle) is active for today's game against the Seahawks. He arrived questionable after putting in just a single limited practice Friday.

Texans WR Brandin Cooks suffered a knee injury in the 3rd quarter of Sunday's game vs. the Titans and is officially questionable to return. We'll pass along an update when we get one.

Seahawks edge Carlos Dunlap (ankle) is active for today's game against the Cardinals. He entered the day questionable.

Saints DE Marcus Davenport (ankle) is active for today's game against the Falcons. Use him as planned in IDP lineups.

Panthers WR Robby Anderson (quad) is active for today’s game vs. the Bucs. He didn’t practice all week, so it’s safe to assume that he’s not close to 100%.

Niners LBs Azeez Al-Shaair (knee) and Marcell Harris (Achilles') are inactive for today's game against the Rams. S Jaquiski Tartt (shoulder) and LB Dre Greenlaw (groin) are active after arriving questionable.

49ers QB Jimmy Garoppolo (thumb) is active for today’s game vs. the Rams. He got in 3 limited practices this week and evidently threw well enough with that right thumb injury. Garoppolo is a risky fantasy bet today.

Jets WR Braxton Berrios (quad) was placed on IR and is out for today’s game vs. the Bills. WR Jamison Crowder is back from his calf injury and should be New York’s top option in the passing game.

Bills WR Emmanuel Sanders (knee) is inactive for today’s game vs. the Jets. WR Gabriel Davis gets another start.

3:00pm EST 1/9/22

Falcons TE Kyle Pitts (hamstring) is active for today’s game vs. the Saints. He got in limited practices on Thursday and Friday but comes with elevated risk in Week 18 fantasy lineups.

Saints RB Mark Ingram (knee) is inactive for today’s game vs. the Falcons. That should open up more work for RB Alvin Kamara.

Patriots RB Damien Harris (hamstring) is active for today’s game vs. the Dolphins. He was limited in practice all week and carries some additional risk with that hammy issue.
