Shark Bites are the latest fantasy football news & NFL updates. Draft Sharks has been in business since 1999. And when we started, redraft was the dominant form of fantasy football. Check out what we've learned about this most basic form of fantasy football along the way.
The Browns have downgraded EDGE Myles Garrett to out for Sunday's game against the Falcons, due to the injuries he suffered in Monday's car accident. It doesn't seem like he should miss further time, given that Garrett said he hoped to play in this game and the team initially listing him as questionable. With fellow EDGE starter Jadeveon Clowney questionable, Cleveland could be down to Alex Wright and Isaiah Thomas as the starters at those spots against Atlanta.
Raiders WR Hunter Renfrow (concussion) is out for Sunday’s game vs. the Broncos. He’s yet to return to practice, so consider him iffy for Week 5. Vegas will also be without TE Foster Moreau (knee) this weekend, boosting the target projections for WR Davante Adams, TE Darren Waller and WR Mack Hollins.
Packers CB Jaire Alexander (groin) is questionable for Sunday's game against the Patriots. He's a low-level IDP, and New England will be forced to start Brian Hoyer at QB. So whether Alexander plays figure to have little fantasy impact.
The Patriots have ruled DL Lawrence Guy (shoulder) out for Sunday's game against the Packers. S Adrian Phillips (ribs), S Kyle Dugger (knee), CB Jalen Mills (hamstring), LB Raekwon McMillan (thumb) and DT Davon Godchaux (back) are questionable. We'll check in on the crew Sunday afternoon.
Cardinals LB Zaven Collins (shoulder) and DE J.J. Watt (calf) are questionable for Sunday's game against the Panthers. Collins managed limited practices all week. Watt sat out Wednesday and Thursday before returning to a limited Friday workout. We'll check the status of both players Sunday.
Jets LB Quincy Williams (ankle) is out for Sunday's game against the Steelers. That likely means a playing-time boost for LB Kwon Alexander, who figures to operate 2nd to C.J. Mosley at the position.
Colts DT DeForest Buckner (elbow) is questionable for Sunday's game against the Titans. We'll check his status Sunday morning, but make sure you have another option available for your IDP lineup. S Julian Blackmon (ankle) has been ruled out.
Colts LB Shaquille Leonard is questionable for Sunday's game against the Titans after what HC Frank Reich called "three pretty good days" of practice, according to NFL.com. Reich said Leonard won't be back to 100% even if he plays and that they'll have to determine whether he can play "at a high level" in spite of the injury. We'll see about his status Sunday morning. Leonard will be risky in his return, but the ceiling is high enough to be on him in most cases if the player and team deem him well enough to play after 3 weeks down.
Titans LB Zach Cunningham (elbow) is out for Sunday's game against the Colts. CB Roger McCreary (back) is questionable. We'll update his status Sunday morning.
Cowboys S Jayron Kearse is questionable for Sunday's game against the Commanders. He missed the past 2 games with a knee sprain but returned to practice this week. If Kearse can't go, then S Donovan Wilson becomes an IDP lineup consideration in his place.
The Saints have ruled S Marcus Maye out for the 2nd straight game with a rib injury. P.J. Williams filled in for Maye against the Panthers, collecting 6 tackles (2 solo) and defensing 2 passes.
Bears EDGE Robert Quinn (illness) is questionable for Sunday's game against the Giants. We'll see about his status come Sunday. CB Jaylon Johnson (quad) has been ruled out.
The Giants have ruled DL Leonard Williams out for Sunday's game against the Bears. It'll be the 2nd straight contest he has missed with the knee sprain. His absence can only enhance the matchup for Bears RB Khalil Herbert.
Steelers S Minkah Fitzpatrick has cleared the league's concussion protocol and will play Sunday against the Jets. CB Ahkello Witherspoon (hamstring) is out for the game.
Jaguars CB Shaquill Griffin (hip) is questionable for Sunday's game against the Eagles. He put in limited practices all week with the issue that kept him out of last Sunday's game. We'll check Griffin's status Sunday.
Vikings EDGE Za'Darius Smith (knee) is questionable for Sunday morning's game against the Saints. He missed the 1st 2 days of practice this week before putting in a limited Friday workout. Smith probably isn't worth the risk for most IDP lineups, but we'll at least know his status early Sunday with the 9:30 a.m. ET kickoff in London.
Browns LB Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah has been cleared to play Sunday against the Falcons and carries no injury designation into the game. He left last Thursday's win over the Steelers early with a groin injury but progressed to limited practices the past 2 days. There's likely some added risk of re-injury vs. usual, but the absence of a questionable tag leaves us willing to play him. JOK has moved up our Week 4 LB rankings.
Browns EDGE starters Myles Garrett and Jadeveon Clowney are questionable for Sunday's game against the Falcons. Clowney continued to miss practice all week with the ankle injury that kept him out of Week 3. Garrett, of course, is dealing with relatively minor injuries following his car crash Monday. We'll check on the status of both players Sunday morning.
Update: Garrett says he "would love to go" Sunday but will need clearance from doctors, according to ESPN's Jake Trotter.
Packers WR Christian Watson (hamstring) isn’t listed on the final Week 4 injury report. We’ll see how big a role the rookie returns to vs. the Patriots on Sunday, but he can’t be trusted in fantasy lineups.
Colts RB Jonathan Taylor (toe) isn’t listed on the final Week 4 injury report. He was a full participant in Thursday and Friday’s practices after sitting out on Wednesday with what reported as soreness. Taylor should be ready for his usual workload vs. the Titans on Sunday.
