The Jets have downgraded QB Tyrod Taylor to out for Sunday's game against the Bengals. He won't even travel with the team. That means Justin Fields will start once again, whether HC Aaron Glenn is willing to say so or not.

Jets QB Tyrod Taylor (knee) was limited in practice all week and is listed as questionable for Sunday’s game vs. the Bengals. New York is reportedly hoping to start Taylor if his knee checks out, although HC Aaron Glenn hasn’t revealed his plans all week. Keep an eye on Shark Bites for updates on the situation. Taylor would only be in play in 2-QB and superflex leagues if he starts.

Jets QB Tyrod Taylor is "day to day" with a knee injury, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. Taylor was in line to start this weekend's game vs. the Bengals, but his availability for that one is now uncertain. The Jets would presumably turn back to QB Justin Fields if Taylor can't play. (They also have QB Brady Cook on the practice squad.) We'll keep you updated on this situation over the next few days, but Taylor and Fields are only in play in superflex and 2-QB leagues this week, despite the plus matchup.

According to Rich Cimini of ESPN, Jets HC Aaron Glenn is "moving toward" naming Tyrod Taylor the starter for Sunday's game against the Bengals. QB Justin Fields was benched last week against the Panthers. Taylor went 26/36 for 197 yards and 2 TDs in his only start against the Buccaneers in Week 3.

Less than a week after saying he was not benching QB Justin Fields, HC Aaron Glenn pulled the plug on Fields after another horrendous start. Glenn benched Fields at halftime after the Jets accumulated 25 net passing yards and 3 points. Tyrod Taylor relieved Fields and brought some semblance of the forward pass to New York's offense, but Taylor tossed a pair of INTs in relief.

Jets QB Justin Fields was benched at halftime of Sunday's game vs. the Panthers. He produced just three points, passing for 46 yards and running for 22. We'll see how QB Tyrod Taylor fares in the second half of this game and which direction the Jets decide to go at QB going forward. Fields will continue to be very tough to trust in fantasy lineups even the the team goes back to him.

Jets WR Garrett Wilson has been diagnosed with a hyperextended knee and is expected to miss “a couple of weeks," a source tells ESPN's Adam Schefter. So fantasy owners should plan on Wilson missing the next two games vs. the Panthers and Bengals. The Jets then get a Week 9 bye, and Wilson should be back for Week 10.

Justin Fields completed only 9 of his 17 attempts and was held to 45 passing yards in a dismal showing versus the Broncos in London. The Jets were held to 82 total yards of offense and converted only 2-of-15 third-down attempts. Fields had as many sacks (9) as he did completions, resulting in New York totalling -10 passing yards on the day.

Jets QB Justin Fields (concussion) put in a full week of practice and is not listed on the final Week 4 injury report. He'll start Monday night's game vs. the Dolphins. Fields finished second among QBs in fantasy points in Week 1 ... and 33rd in Week 2. He carries a wide range of outcomes, but this plus matchup against Miami skews his projection toward the upside.

Jets QB Justin Fields (concussion) was a full participant in Thursday's practice. HC Aaron Glenn confirmed earlier today that Fields will be the team's starter if he clears protocol, and he's on pace to do so. Fields will be a risk/reward Week 4 fantasy play after turning in a huge Week 1 followed by a Week 2 dud. He gets a plus matchup on Monday night against the Dolphins.

Jets QB Justin Fields has been announced as out for their Week 3 match-up against the Buccaneers. HC Aaron Glenn announced that Fields would not play, as he is working through the concussion protocol. Fields suffered the concussion in the Jets' Week 2 loss to the Buffalo Bills.

Jets HC Aaron Glenn suggested Monday that QB Justin Fields (concussion) will need to be cleared to practice on Wednesday or Thursday to have a chance to start vs. the Buccaneers. “It’s hard for me as a coach once we get to Friday and you haven’t had any reps,” Glenn said. He added that the team needs to "build a plan that's suitable" for QB Tyrod Taylor. We'll see if Fields is able to get on the practice field by Thursday. But, for now, fantasy owners should work under the assumption that it'll be Taylor under center this weekend. Taylor doesn't bring the same rushing ability as Fields, especially at this point of his career. But he might be a slight upgrade as a passer.

One week after racking up 145 scrimmage yards, Breece Hall and the New York Jets' offense plummeted back to Earth. Hall was limited to 29 rushing yards on 10 carries. He also had 9 receiving yards on 2 receptions. One week after nearly everything went right for the new-look Jets' offense, New York mustered just 154 total yards in a 30-10 defeat.

Jets QB Justin Fields exited in the fourth quarter of Sunday's game vs. the Bills for a concussion check. He was horrible before that, completing 3 of 11 passes for 27 scoreless yards. Fields at least added 49 rushing yards, but it was a huge step back from his impressive opener. We'll see if he's ultimately diagnosed with a concussion, which would be the first of his career. QB Tyrod Taylor has replaced Fields.

Update: Fields has been diagnosed with a concussion. We'll track his progress through the protocol this week.

QB Justin Fields delivered arguably the best game of his career, completing 16 of 22 passes for 218 yards with a TD and no INTs. He added 12 carries for 38 yards and two goal-line scores. Fields showed command of the offense, with OC Tanner Engstrand tailoring playcalling to his strengths through read options and play action.

Jets G Alijah Vera-Tucker will undergo season-ending surgery to repair a torn tricep, ESPN's Adam Schefter reports. It's a big loss for a Jets team that wants to lean on the run this year. Vera-Tucker ranked 12th among 66 qualifying Gs in both Pro Football Focus run- and pass-blocking grades. last season. We'll see how New York reshuffles the offensive line, with veterans Joe Tippmann, Josh Myers, and Chuks Okorafor candidates to replace Vera-Tucker. But this is a concern for QB Justin Fields, WR Garrett Wilson, and the Jets RBs.

Jets QB Justin Fields dislocated a non-big toe on his right foot in Thursday's practice, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. There's no fracture. Fields is still scheduled for an MRI, but all indications are that he avoided a serious injury. NFL Network's Mike Garafolo reports that Fields should be ready for Week 1.

Update: Fields returned to practice Friday morning. (Phew.)
