Shark Bites are the latest fantasy football news & NFL updates. Draft Sharks has been in business since 1999. And when we started, redraft was the dominant form of fantasy football. Check out what we've learned about this most basic form of fantasy football along the way.
Buccaneers LB Devin White (quad) and DT Vita Vea (knee) are active for today's game against the Colts.
Jets WR Corey Davis (groin) is inactive for today’s game vs. the Texans. Look for Elijah Moore and Keelan Cole to operate as New York’s primary outside WRs, with Jamison Crowder in the slot.
Giants WR Kadarius Toney (quad) is inactive for today’s game vs. the Eagles. TE Kyle Rudolph (ankle) joins Toney and WR Sterling Shepard (quad) on the inactive list. WR John Ross (quad) is active, giving New York some depth behind WRs Kenny Golladay and Darius Slayton.
Falcons LB Deion Jones (shoulder) is inactive for today's game against the Jaguars. That likely means closer to full playing time for LB Mykal Walker.
Giants RB Saquon Barkley (ankle) is active for today’s game vs. the Eagles. He was limited in practice this week and listed as questionable, but Barkley got out of last week’s game without a setback and should be in better shape today.
Patriots TE Hunter Henry (neck) is active for today’s game vs. the Titans. He was limited in practice all week and listed as questionable, but we’ve heard nothing to suggest that the neck will be an issue today. Henry remains a TD-reliant fantasy play.
Patriots RBs Damien Harris (neck) and Rhamondre Stevenson (knee) are active for today’s game vs. the Titans. Both guys were listed as questionable but should be ready for their usual roles. RB J.J. Taylor is a healthy scratch again, which would seem to confirm that the Pats aren't worried about Harris or Stevenson. Look for them to split early-down work, with RB Brandon Bolden handling most of the passing downs.
Titans TE Geoff Swaim (concussion) is active for today’s game vs. the Patriots. He’s been Tennessee’s most productive TE lately but would be a desperation fantasy play.
Falcons RB Cordarrelle Patterson (ankle) is active for today’s game vs. the Jaguars. He was limited in practice all week and was reportedly a game-time decision coming off the high-ankle sprain. C-Patt carries elevated risk in Week 12 fantasy lineups.
Rams QB Matt Stafford's health is "certainly an issue," ESPN's Dianna Russini reports. Stafford is dealing with elbow pain and a chronic back issue, per Russini. Stafford has looked banged up on a few occasions this season and struggled in his last 2 outings prior to the bye. He's not listed on the Week 12 injury report, and we're not altering Stafford's projections vs. the Packers today. But his health will be worth keeping a close eye on the rest of the way.
ESPN's Adam Schefter confirms that Cowboys WR CeeDee Lamb (concussion) is expected back for Thursday night's game vs. the Saints. Lamb couldn't quite get cleared for the Thanksgiving game against the Raiders but should pass protocol soon, barring a setback. WR Amari Cooper is also eligible to come off the COVID list before the Saints game.
Patriots TE Hunter Henry (neck) is expected to play vs. the Titans today, per NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. Henry is listed as questionable but never seemed in danger of missing this one. He remains a TD-dependent fantasy play.
Patriots RBs Damien Harris (neck) and RB Rhamondre Stevenson (knee) are "looking good to play" vs. the Titans today, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. Both guys are listed as questionable, but we never sensed any concern about their statuses. Look for Harris and Stevenson to split early-down work today, with RB Brandon Bolden handling most of the passing downs.
Falcons RB Cordarrelle Patterson (ankle) is a "true game-time decision" for today's tilt with the Jaguars, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. Patterson is "feeling much better this week," per Rapoport, but the Falcons are "making sure they are smart about it." We'll get Atlanta's inactives around 11:30 am ET.
49ers RB Elijah Mitchell (finger, rib) is expected to play vs. the Vikings today, ESPN's Adam Schefter reports. Mitchell had finger surgery 12 days ago and remained in a non-contact jersey in practice this week. We're assuming the 'Niners trust his ability to carry the football if he ends up active, but it's possible that he isn't used in the passing game. Consider Mitchell a risk/reward RB2 for Week 12
Ravens WR Marquise Brown (thigh) will "likely" play vs. the Browns tonight, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. It would have been nice to get a "Brown will play" report, but it sounds like he can be penciled into Week 12 fantasy lineups. We'll let you know if that changes.
ESPN's Adam Schefter confirms that Giants RB Saquon Barkley (ankle) is expected to play vs. the Eagles today. Barkley was limited in practice all week and listed as questionable, but there was never much doubt about his availability for this one after he made it out of last week's loss to the Bucs without a setback.
ESPN's Adam Schefter and NFL Network's Tom Pelissero report that Packers RB Aaron Jones (knee) is a game-time decision for today's tilt with the Rams. Pelissero says there's "some optimism" that Jones will play. Schefter says Jones "wants to play" but suggests that the Packers' Week 13 bye might factor into the final decision. This game doesn't kick off until 4:25 pm ET, so we won't get Green Bay's inactives until 3 pm. If you're hoping to use Jones today, you'll need a late-game alternative lined up. A.J. Dillon would go from RB1 to RB3 if Jones ends up active.
Washington TE Logan Thomas (hamstring) is expected to be activated from IR and play vs. the Seahawks on Monday night, according to ESPN's John Keim. Thomas has been out since Week 4 and will be on a snap count, HC Ron Rivera said. That obviously adds downside to Thomas' Week 12 fantasy outlook. TE Ricky Seals-Jones (hip) is listed as doubtful for the Monday nighter.
Washington WR Curtis Samuel (groin) is listed as questionable for Monday night's game vs. Seattle. He was limited in practice all week and had been expected to return for this one. Samuel has been out since Week 5 and is expected to be limited to no more than 15 snaps on Monday night, according to ESPN's John Keim. Samuel isn't a Week 12 fantasy option.
