Fantasy Football News & Latest NFL Updates

Shark Bites are the latest fantasy football news & NFL updates. Draft Sharks has been in business since 1999. And when we started, redraft was the dominant form of fantasy football. Check out what we've learned about this most basic form of fantasy football along the way.

Cardinals WR Michael Wilson (shoulder) is not expected to play vs. the Texans today, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. The rookie aggravated his shoulder injury in Friday's practice. Arizona will also be without WR Zach Pascal (hamstring) today, leaving Greg Dortch as the likely No. 3 WR. That arrangement figures to push WR Rondale Moore to the outside when the Cardinals go with three WRs. Moore, WR Marquise Brown, and TE Trey McBride have a chance to pick up an extra target or two with Wilson out.

ESPN's Adam Schefter confirms that Vikings RB Alexander Mattison (concussion) is "good to go" for tonight's game vs. the Broncos. He shouldn't have any physical limitations after clearing the protocol. Remember, though, that RB Ty Chandler matched Mattison with eight carries before Mattison left last week's game with his concussion. Mattison out-targeted Chandler two to 0 and is the preferred fantasy play against Denver's 32nd-ranked RB defense. But we're expecting to see plenty of Chandler tonight, too.

Bears RB D'Onta Foreman (ankle) is expected to play vs. the Lions on Sunday, according to ESPN's Jeremy Fowler. Foreman was limited in practice all week and is listed as questionable, so it's safe to assume that he won't be at 100%. That, plus the return of RB Khalil Herbert, leaves Foreman as a poor Week 11 fantasy play.

Cowboys RB Rico Dowdle was added to the injury report on Saturday with an ankle and is now questionable for Sunday's game vs. the Panthers. Despite his 79-yard, one-TD effort in last week's blowout win over the Giants, Dowdle should not have been in your Week 11 fantasy plans. His absence tomorrow would be a slight boost to RB Tony Pollard's fantasy outlook.

On Saturday, Vikings beat reporter Ben Goessling tweeted that he expects RB Alexander Mattison (concussion) to play in Week 11 vs. the Broncos. Though he will still have to clear NFL concussion protocol prior to Sunday night's game, this is very good news for fantasy managers. The Broncos' defense ranks as the single-best RB matchup per our adjusted fantasy points allowed and 32nd in run-defense DVOA in 2023.

The Dolphins have activated RB De'Von Achane (knee) from IR, making him available to play Sunday against the Raiders. We've been expecting Achane to be available this week, his first week of eligibility. You can find the rookie in RB1 territory of our Week 11 rankings. His return adds a challenge for RB Raheem Mostert's workload, but he still carries plenty of upside as well and belongs in your fantasy lineup in most cases.

The Vikings are not activating WR Justin Jefferson off IR this weekend, meaning he won't play Sunday night against the Broncos. Minnesota will need to activate Jefferson for Week 12 -- or leave him on IR for the rest of the season. Jefferson got the "questionable" label on Friday's practice report, so we're assuming he'll be ready to play next week. But we'll certainly be watching for confirmation. Jefferson's continued absence leaves target share available for TE T.J. Hockenson, WR Jordan Addison, and others. It also hurts the upside of QB Joshua Dobbs.

On Saturday, ESPN's Adam Schefter tweeted that Bears RB Khalil Herbert has been officially activated off IR ahead of Week 11 vs. the Lions. Herbert's return to action will mark his first game back since injuring his ankle in Week 5 vs. the Commanders. This news lowers the fantasy upside of fellow RBs D'Onta Foreman and Roschon Johnson as we expect the Bears' backfield to be deployed in more of a committee approach. See where each player appears in our current RB rankings for Week 11.

Eagles HC Nick Sirianni says he has "high hopes" that TE Dallas Goedert won't miss more than three games with his forearm fracture, according to Jimmy Kempski of Philly Voice. "There's a reason he's not on IR yet." That would obviously be good news for Goedert's fantasy outlook, and it means you should try to avoid dropping the Eagles TE if your roster can take the dead spot for three weeks. That return timeline would bring Goedert back for Week 14 (at Dallas) and then high-ceiling matchups with the Seahawks, Giants, and Cardinals.

Buccaneers LB Devin White (foot) is questionable for Sunday's game against the 49ers. He progressed from no practice Wednesday to a limited Thursday and then full Friday participation. That suggests White will be ready for Sunday's game. He has been a low-level IDP option this season, though.

Steelers S Minkah Fitzpatrick (hamstring) will miss his third straight game. Pittsburgh has ruled him out again after another week of no practice. Pittsburgh has also ruled S Keanu Neal (rib) out for the game. That should leave Elijah Riley joining Damontae Kazee at safety in the starting lineup.

Packers LB Quay Walker (groin) is questionable for Sunday's game against the Chargers. He put in limited practices all week after missing the previous two games (and all preceding practices). CB Jaire Alexander (shoulder) and Edge Rashan Gary (shoulder) are also questionable. We'll check the status of all three Sunday.

Bears LB Tremaine Edmunds (knee) returned for a limited practice Friday and is questionable for Sunday's game against the Lions. We'll see about his status next week. LB Jack Sanborn is also questionable. He seemed to be headed in the right direction after a full Thursday practice but then missed Friday's practice with an illness. We'll check his status over the weekend.

The Jaguars have ruled CB Tyson Campbell (hamstring) out for Sunday's game against the Titans. Campbell left Week 6 early with the injury. He missed the next two games. Then he returned for Week 10 after the bye and left the game early with the same injury. Campbell then missed practice all week before being ruled out. That doesn't bode well for his Week 12 outlook. We'll see about his status heading into that game.

Jets WR Garrett Wilson told reporters on Friday that he'll play vs. the Bills this weekend, despite being listed as questionable with his elbow injury. "It's doing better," Wilson said. "I'm feeling good, so we're going to rock this weekend." But Wilson also admitted that the injury will limit him, according to ESPN's Rich Cimini. We'll look for further updates on just how limited Wilson will be. For now, we're still expecting him to play a full slate of snaps. The elbow obviously adds risk, but Wilson still belongs in most fantasy lineups. He’s racked up 52 targets over his last four games.

Giants Edge Kayvon Thibodeaux has cleared the concussion protocol and will play Sunday against Washington. That's a surprising progression after he suffered his injury just last Sunday. Thibodeaux tallied 1.5 sacks in the previous meeting with Washington. He has just two games all season with more than 1 solo tackle, so the floor is low if he doesn't convert any sacks. But the upside will be worth chasing for many IDP lineups. He has moved up to DL2 territory in our Week 11 rankings.

Seahawks WR Tyler Lockett (hamstring) is questionable for Sunday’s game vs. the Rams. He’s been on the injury report with a hamstring injury since Week 7. But, unlike those times, Lockett didn’t practice at all this week. "He ran today though, he worked out and did all that with the trainers, but we didn't run him in practice," HC Pete Carroll said Friday. "He'll run again tomorrow. It's day-to-day right now." We’ll look for further updates on Lockett’s status but won’t get Seattle’s inactives until 3 pm ET on Sunday.

Broncos WR Jerry Jeudy (hip) is not listed on the final Week 11 injury report. He was added on Thursday and limited in practice but returned to a full workout on Friday. The hip shouldn't be an issue in Sunday night’s game vs. the Vikings.

Chargers WR Jalen Guyton (groin) is questionable for this weekend’s game vs. the Packers. He was added to the injury report on Friday and limited in practice. Guyton played 79% of the Chargers’ offensive snaps and saw six targets last week. His loss would be significant – and likely leave rookie Derius Davis as the No. 3 WR.

Chargers TE Gerald Everett (chest) is out for Sunday’s game vs. the Packers. TE Donald Parham (hip) is off the injury report after putting in a full practice on Friday and is a viable Week 11 fantasy spot starter. Parham posted a 4-43-1 line on five targets when Everett missed Week 8. For the season, Parham leads the Chargers and ranks second among all TEs with seven end-zone targets.
