Shark Bites are the latest fantasy football news & NFL updates. Draft Sharks has been in business since 1999. And when we started, redraft was the dominant form of fantasy football. Check out what we've learned about this most basic form of fantasy football along the way.
Bengals CB Cam Taylor-Britt injured his left quad in Thursday night's game against the Ravens and has been ruled out for the game. That doesn't bode well for his Week 12 availability, but we'll watch for more specifics on this injury.
Bengals QB Joe Burrow hurt his right hand or elbow in the second quarter of Thursday night's game vs. the Ravens. The TV broadcast showed Burrow trying to throw on the sidelines but unable to grip the ball. He immediately headed back to the locker room. We'll update Burrow's status when we know more. QB Jake Browning is Cincinnati's backup.
Update: Burrow is officially questionable to return with a wrist injury.
Update: Burrow has been ruled out. He's on the sidelines without any protective gear on that right wrist.
Eagles TE Dallas Goedert (forearm) did not practice on Thursday. He's expected to miss about four weeks with his fractured forearm, so don't expect to see him out there for Monday night's showdown vs. the Chiefs. Goedert's absence leaves Philly with TEs Jack Stoll, Grant Calcaterra, and Albert Okwuegbunam. We'll see how those guys are deployed on Monday, but none can be trusted in Week 11 fantasy lineups.
Broncos WR Jerry Jeudy was added to the injury report on Thursday with a hip and limited in practice. That likely means that Jeudy hurt that hip today. We'll see what he does on Friday and how he's listed on the final injury report for Sunday night's game vs. the Vikings.
Vikings RB Alexander Mattison (concussion) returned to a limited practice on Thursday. So he's made some progress through the protocol and at least has a chance to be cleared for Sunday night's game vs. the Broncos. We'll get another update on Mattison's status tomorrow.
Dolphins RB De'Von Achane (knee) will return for this weekend's game vs. the Raiders, according to insider Jordan Schultz. Achane remained limited in Thursday's practice. We'll see how he's listed on the final injury report tomorrow, but the rookie can be penciled back into Week 11 fantasy lineups for now.
Texans WR Noah Brown (knee) remained sidelined on Thursday. He's now seemingly in real danger of missing this weekend's game vs. the Cardinals. We'll see if Brown gets on the practice field tomorrow and how he's listed on the final injury report.
Chargers TE Gerald Everett (chest) missed practice again on Thursday. He's looking unlikely to play vs. the Packers this weekend. TE Donald Parham (hip) returned to a limited practice on Thursday. We'll see what he does on Friday and how he's listed on the final injury report. If Parham plays and Everett misses, Parham will be in the mix as a Week 11 spot starter.
Ravens TE Mark Andrews injured his left ankle on the opening possession of Thursday night's game vs. the Bengals. He was able to limp off the field under his own power and is officially questionable to return. We'll update his status when we know more. Isaiah Likely will take over as Baltimore's lead TE for however long Andrews is out.
Update: Andrews went into the x-ray room on crutches, according to the Prime TV broadcast. Don't expect to see him back out there tonight.
Update: Andrews has officially been ruled out.
Chargers WR Keenan Allen (shoulder) returned to a limited practice on Thursday. He told reporters afterward that he has an AC joint sprain in that left shoulder but fully plans on playing vs. the Packers this weekend. We'll update Allen's status again tomorrow.
Steelers TE Pat Freiermuth (hamstring) graduated to a full practice on Thursday. It's confirmation that he's set to return for this weekend's game vs. the Browns. Coming off a multi-week hamstring injury and in a negative matchup. Freiermuth is not a recommended TE1 this week.
Steelers WR Diontae Johnson (thumb) returned to a full practice on Thursday. It looks like Wednesday was pretty much a rest day. Johnson should be ready for his usual role vs. the Browns this weekend.
Bears RB Khalil Herbert (ankle, shin) was upgraded to full participation in Thursday's practice. He was a full-go all last week before missing the Thursday nighter vs. the Panthers, so we can't say yet that Herbert will definitely play vs. the Lions this weekend. We'll see how he's listed on the final injury report tomorrow.
Vikings WR K.J. Osborn (concussion) was a full participant in Wednesday's practice. He was actually cleared for last weekend's game vs. the Saints, but the team opted to hold him out. Barring a setback, Osborn will play vs. the Broncos on Sunday night. And he'll be a viable WR4 play if WR Justin Jefferson remains out with his hamstring injury.
Vikings RB Alexander Mattison (concussion) did not practice on Wednesday. He's unlikely to be cleared in time to play vs. the Broncos on Sunday night. Mattison's absence would leave Ty Chandler as Minnesota's lead back against the #32 RB defense.
Rams QB Matt Stafford (thumb) was a full participant in Wednesday's practice. "I feel pretty confident in my ability to go out there and play at a pretty high level," he said afterward. Stafford will start this weekend's game vs. the Seahawks, but we'd still like to see a healthy, productive outing from him before using him in 1-QB fantasy leagues.
Seahawks WR Tyler Lockett (hamstring) did not practice on Wednesday. He's been out or limited each of the past four Wednesdays and played each week. He should be fine for Sunday's game vs. the Rams.
Commanders RB Antonio Gibson (toe) did not practice on Wednesday. No word yet on his status for this weekend's game vs. the Giants. His absence would free up some passing-down work for RB Brian Robinson. Check back tomorrow for an update on Gibson.
Dolphins RB De'Von Achane (knee) was limited in Wednesday's practice. He's eligible to return for this weekend's game vs. the Raiders, and The Miami Herald's Adam Beasley said Monday that there's "an excellent chance" he does. HC Mike McDaniel stopped short of guaranteeing that Achane will play on Sunday but sounded optimistic, calling the rookie "un-tackleable" in Monday's practice. "I feel good about where we're at," McDaniel added. We'll keep an eye on Achane over the next few days.
Jaguars WR Zay Jones (knee) remained limited in Wednesday's practice. He got in three limited practices last week before missing the 49ers game. Jones, of course, is also facing misdemeanor domestic battery charges, although that situation is unlikely to prevent him from playing this weekend. We'll see about the knee.
