Fantasy Football News & Latest NFL Updates

Shark Bites are the latest fantasy football news & NFL updates. Draft Sharks has been in business since 1999. And when we started, redraft was the dominant form of fantasy football. Check out what we've learned about this most basic form of fantasy football along the way.

Bengals WR Ja'Marr Chase (hip) was limited in practice on Thursday for the 2nd straight day. We've heard no concern about his availability for this weekend's game vs. the Falcons, but his status is worth checking back on tomorrow.

Bengals WR Tee Higgins (ankle) was a full participant in Thursday's practice for the 1st time since hurting that ankle in Week 4. He's an upside fantasy play in Sunday's plus matchup vs. the Falcons.

Bucs WR Julio Jones (knee) put in a limited practice on Thursday. We'll see if he suits up vs. the Panthers on Sunday for the 1st time since Week 4, but Jones shouldn't be in your fantasy plans.

Ravens QB Lamar Jackson (hip) was upgraded to full participation in Thursday's practice. He'll be ready to rock for this weekend's game vs. the Browns.

Ravens RB J.K. Dobbins (knee) missed practice again on Thursday. It looks like he's in real danger of missing this weekend's game vs. the Browns, which would leave Baltimore's backfield to RBs Kenyan Drake and Justice Hill.

Ravens WR Rashod Bateman (foot) remained limited in Thursday's practice. We'll see what he does on Friday and how he's listed on the final injury report for this weekend's game vs. the Browns.

Ravens TE Mark Andrews (knee) missed his 2nd straight practice on Thursday. We've still heard no concern from the team or media about Andrews' status for this weekend's game vs. the Browns, but check back tomorrow for another update.

Cardinals WR Robbie Anderson is active for tonight's game vs. the Saints. He joined the team just 3 days ago. NFL Network's Ian Rapoport said earlier tonight that Anderson might play "more than you expect," but he still can't be trusted in Week 7 fantasy lineups.

Saints HC Dennis Allen confirmed to NFL Network's Omar Ruiz that QB Andy Dalton will start tonight's game vs. the Cardinals. Dalton is only in play in 2-QB leagues and 1-game DFS contests.

Cardinals K Matt Prater (hip) is inactive for tonight's game vs. the Saints. Rodrigo Blankenship will kick for Arizona.

Cardinals RB James Conner (ribs) is inactive for tonight's game vs. the Saints. That leaves Eno Benjamin as Arizona's lead back. He handled 15 carries and 3 targets last week and should be in for similar volume tonight. RB Corey Clement was elevated from the practice squad and joins RB Keaontay Ingram behind Benjamin.

Saints CB Paulson Adebo (knee) is inactive for tonight’s game against the Cardinals. That leaves New Orleans without its top 2 CBs

Cardinals S Jalen Thompson (hamsteing) is active for tonight’s game against the Saints

Cardinals WR Marquise Brown (foot) has been placed on IR. That means he's out for at least the next 4 games. Brown is expected to miss 4-6 weeks with his injury, so this doesn't change his rest-of-season outlook.

Jets WR Elijah Moore has asked the Jets for a trade, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. Moore is "frustrated with his role and usage," per Rapoport. The Jets have gone run-heavy with QB Zach Wilson, resulting in just 8 targets for Moore over the past 3 weeks. Rapoport adds that the Jets have no plans to trade Moore -- which makes sense considering he's still on his rookie contract. A move out of New York would almost certainly be good news for Moore's fantasy value, but it doesn't sound like we should expect that to happen.

Patriots QB Mac Jones (ankle) remained limited in Thursday's practice. He's still New England's starter when healthy, but it's unclear if he'll be ready for Monday night's game vs. the Bears. We'll get another update tomorrow.

Patriots RB Damien Harris (hamstring) was a full participant in Thursday's practice. That puts him on track to return for Monday night's game vs. the Bears. Expect New England to revert back to a rotation with Harris and RB Rhamondre Stevenson. In their last 3 healthy games together, Harris out-carried Stevenson 44 to 35, with Stevenson holding a 12 to 6 edge in targets.

Commanders WR Jahan Dotson (hamstring) was officially limited again in Thursday's practice. But beat writers saw him pull up lame during a route early on. He reportedly spent the rest of practice on the stationary bike. We'll see if Dotson practices on Friday and how he's listed on the final injury report, but fantasy owners shouldn't plan on using him in Week 7 lineups.

NFL Network's Tom Pelissero hears that Cardinals WR DeAndre Hopkins is expected to be a "full-go" vs. the Saints tonight. Hopkins just returned from his 6-game suspension but has 2 seasons' worth of experience in HC Kliff Kingsbury's offense. He gets a plus matchup against a New Orleans secondary missing top CB Marshon Lattimore.

"Signs are pointing" toward Saints QB Andy Dalton starting tonight's game vs. the Cardinals, according to NFL Network's Tom Pelissero. QB Jameis Winston (back, ankle) is still "not quite 100%," per Pelissero, and hasn't had a full practice since Week 1. Expect another run-heavy attack from the Dalton-led Saints tonight.
