Shark Bites are the latest fantasy football news & NFL updates. Draft Sharks has been in business since 1999. And when we started, redraft was the dominant form of fantasy football. Check out what we've learned about this most basic form of fantasy football along the way.
Browns RB Kareem Hunt (shoulder) was listed as a full participant in practice on Wednesday. We'll keep you in the loop if anything changes that could affect his status for Week 17 vs. the Commanders.
Buccaneers WR Julio Jones (knee) was a limited practice participant on Wednesday. The former All-Pro is a regular on the injury report in 2022, so it's tough to glean anything from only Wednesday's report. We'll keep an eye on Jones this week.
Buccaneers TE Cade Otton (quadriceps) did not practice on Wednesday. We'll continue to track the rookie's status for Week 17 vs. the Panthers as the week evolves. Check back in tomorrow for updates.
Eagles RB Miles Sanders (knee) did not practice on Wednesday. We'll see how he progresses this week ahead of Week 17 vs. the Saints. Be sure to check back tomorrow for additional information.
Eagles QB Jalen Hurts (right shoulder) did not practice on Wednesday. The talented dual-threat QB missed last week's game vs. the Cowboys and is reportedly very much questionable for Week 17 vs. the Saints. Don't be surprised if QB Gardner Minshew gets the start for the Eagles this coming week, but we don't want to speak too soon either. We'll continue to monitor Hurts' status in practice this week.
Eagles WR A.J. Brown (knee) is listed as a limited participant on Wednesday's practice report. It's too soon to tell how this will affect his status for Week 17 vs. the Saints. Track this storyline as the week unfolds.
Saints WR Chris Olave (hamstring) logged limited participation in practice on Wednesday. The talented rookie missed last week's contest with this injury. As such, limited participation early in the week is a good sign for Week 17 vs. the Eagles, but let's not get too ahead of ourselves. Keep an eye out for updates throughout the week.
Patriots TE Hunter Henry (knee) practiced in a limited fashion on Wednesday. It's too early to tell if his availability for Week 17 vs. the Dolphins is in jeopardy. We'll keep tabs on the TE this week. Check back tomorrow for updates.
Patriots RB Rhamondre Stevenson (ankle) practiced in a limited fashion on Wednesday. Teammate Damien Harris (thigh) was also limited at Wednesday's practice. Stevenson was able to suit up and play in Week 16 against the Bengals. On the other hand, Harris has not played since Week 12 vs. the Vikings. Both RBs logged limited participation all of last week. We'll be sure to keep an eye on their activity ahead of Week 17 vs. the Dolphins.
Patriots WR DeVante Parker (concussion) did not practice on Wednesday. The veteran wideout has not appeared in a game since Week 14 vs. the Cardinals. There's still plenty of time this week for Parker to log practice participation, but working his way through NFL concussion protocol is the biggest hurdle in his way. We'll keep an eye on his activity in advance of Week 17 vs. the Dolphins.
Dolphins RB Raheem Mostert (NIR/rest) did not participate in practice on Wednesday ahead of Week 17 vs. the Patriots. No need to sound the alarms for a veteran rest day. Keep up with our feed for updates tomorrow.
Broncos TE Greg Dulcich (hamstring) was listed as a non-participant at practice on Wednesday. With Week 17's game vs. the Chiefs scheduled for a Sunday kickoff, there's plenty of time for Dulcich to increase activity and receive the green light to play. Continue to monitor this situation as the week unfolds.
Broncos RB Latavius Murray (NIR/rest) received the day off from practice on Wednesday. It's not unusual for veterans to sit out Wednesday practices, so no need for alarm. We'll check back on Murray's status for Week 17 vs. the Chiefs tomorrow.
Broncos WRs Jerry Jeudy (ankle) and Courtland Sutton (hamstring) both participated in a limited fashion on Wednesday. It's still early enough in the week for both pass-catchers to suit up for Week 17 vs. the Chiefs potentially. We'll have a better idea of their statuses tomorrow.
Jaguars QB Trevor Lawrence (toe) did not practice on Wednesday in advance of Week 17 vs. the Texans. Lawrence has played through this ailment all season. He'll likely be fine, but in case he isn't, we'll monitor the situation. Check back for more info tomorrow.
Bears WR Chase Claypool (knee) did not practice on Wednesday. Fellow WR Equanimeous St. Brown (concussion) also did not participate. Neither player suited up for Week 16 due to these injuries. Their availability for Week 17 vs. the Lions is up in the air as of now, but there's still a whole week of practice ahead of them. We'll keep an eye on this situation.
Cowboys RB Tony Pollard is questionable for Thursday night's game against the Titans after missing his 3rd straight practice Wednesday with a thigh issue. Even if he's active for the game, Dallas will be facing a Tennessee team benching a lot of starters in a contest that doesn't affect their playoff status. That could limit Pollard's exposure in what should be an easy win. Limited time for Pollard and a slew of missing starters on the Tennessee defense add lots more upside to RB Ezekiel Elliott than the initial matchup pointed to.
Cowboys LB Micah Parsons is questionable for Thursday night's game against the Titans with a left-hand injury that limited his practice the past 2 days. He said after Tuesday's workout that he still expected to play. The team has ruled out LB Leighton Vander Esch (shoulder), which will boost the playing time for LBs Anthony Barr and Damone Clark. Check our Week 17 IDP rankings to see whether either should factor into your fantasy football plans.
In another clear sign that the Titans are surrendering Thursday night's game to the Cowboys, the team announced Wednesday that basically the entire defense is out or doubtful. DT Jeffery Simmons, S Amani Hooker, EDGE Bud Dupree, LB Dylan Cole and LB Zach Cunningham are out. DL Denico Autry and CB Kristian Fulton are doubtful, which is really just a wishy-washy way of saying "out." LB Monty Rice, CB Roger McCready and S Andrew Adams like just about the only playable pieces for IDP leagues.
The Titans list RB Derrick Henry as doubtful for Thursday night's game against the Cowboys. He has been listed with a hip issue all week but put in limited practices Tuesday and Wednesday after sitting out Monday. This is clearly a move by the Titans to save up some key players for a Week 18 meeting with the Jaguars that will determine whether they make the playoffs. With Henry out and Dontrell Hilliard already on IR, the Titans will turn to Hassan Haskins and Julius Chestnut. With 11 and 5 carries for the season, respectively -- 7 and 2 targets -- neither is a strong bet to grab the clear backfield lead. Try to avoid this offense altogether in your Week 17 fantasy football lineups.
