Fantasy Football News & Latest NFL Updates

Shark Bites are the latest fantasy football news & NFL updates. Draft Sharks has been in business since 1999. And when we started, redraft was the dominant form of fantasy football. Check out what we've learned about this most basic form of fantasy football along the way.

Lions RB D'Andre Swift (ankle, shoulder) was limited in practice all week and is listed as questionable for Sunday’s game vs. the Cowboys. We’re tentatively expecting Swift to return for that one – but it’s clear that he’s still not at 100%. See where Swift sits in the Week 7 RB Rankings.

Lions WR Josh Reynolds (knee) is listed as questionable for this weekend’s game vs. the Cowboys. He got in just a limited practice on Friday. So, if Reynolds plays on Sunday, it’s safe to assume he’ll be doing so at less than 100%. He’d be a risky fantasy start.

Lions WR D.J. Chark (ankle) is out for Sunday’s game vs. the Cowboys. He’s having trouble with the ankle he fractured in September 2021 and has no public timetable to return. Chark is not a must-stash on fantasy rosters.

Lions WR Amon-Ra St. Brown (ankle) put in a full week of practice and isn’t listed on the final injury report. He’s ready to step back into his usual high-volume role vs. the Cowboys on Sunday.

Colts RB Jonathan Taylor (ankle) is not listed on the final injury report. He practiced all week, including full workouts on Thursday and Friday. HC Frank Reich confirmed on Friday that Taylor will resume handling the bulk of the backfield work vs. the Titans this weekend. RBs Nyheim Hines (concussion) and Deon Jackson (quad) are also off the final injury report but aren’t viable fantasy plays.

Broncos QB Russell Wilson (hamstring) is listed as questionable for Sunday’s game vs. the Jets. HC Nathaniel Hackett called him a game-time decision on Friday. Wilson, of course, was struggling before dealing with this hamstring injury. Hopefully you don’t need him in Week 7 fantasy lineups. If Wilson is out this weekend, Denver would turn to QB Brett Rypien.

Ravens RB J.K. Dobbins will be having arthroscopic surgery on his left knee next week. ESPN's Adam Schefter reports that he'll miss the ensuing 4-6 weeks. That should leave this week's backfield to Kenyan Drake and Justice Hill, who put in full practices all week coming off his hamstring injury. Gus Edwards should be back soon as well and gains upside with Dobbins' status. All 3 Baltimore RBs are worth stashing where possible on fantasy football rosters.

Commanders WR Jahan Datson (hamstring) is listed as questionable for this weekend’s game vs. the Packers. He appeared to re-injure that hamstring on Thursday and then didn’t practice on Friday. So, even if Dotson suits up on Sunday, he’d be a very risky fantasy play. WR Dyami Brown (groin) has been ruled out.

Packers QB Aaron Rodgers (thumb) is not listed on the final Week 7 injury report. He was out on Wednesday, a full-go on Thursday and then limited on Friday. That’s a bit different than last week, when he went no practice, full, full. Rodgers will start Sunday’s game vs. the Commanders, but it’s possible that the thumb is an issue.

Packers WR Christian Watson (hamstring) is out for Sunday’s game vs. the Commanders. With WR Randall Cobb (ankle) also out, Green Bay is down to WRs Amari Rodgers and Juwann Winfree behind top-2 WRs Allen Lazard and Romeo Doubs.

Steelers TE Pat Freiermuth (concussion) put in a full week of practice and isn’t listed on the final injury report. He’ll be back for Sunday night’s game vs. the Dolphins’ 27th-ranked TE defense.

Steelers QB Kenny Pickett (concussion) put in a full week of practice and isn’t listed on the final injury report. He’ll start on Sunday night vs. Miami’s 20th-ranked QB defense. The rookie is only an option in 2-QB and Superflex leagues.

Ravens WR Rashod Bateman (foot) was limited in practice all week and is listed as questionable for Sunday’s game vs. the Browns. He said Friday that the decision on whether he plays is up to HC John Harbaugh. We’ll get Baltimore’s inactives around 11:30 am ET on Sunday.

Ravens TE Mark Andrews (knee) is listed as questionable for this weekend’s game vs. the Browns. He only got in a limited practice on Friday but didn’t sound worried about his status. “My body feels good. I’m ready to go,” Andrews said. Keep him penciled into fantasy lineups for now, but check back around 11:30 am ET on Sunday to make sure he’s active.

Ravens QB Lamar Jackson (hip) is not listed on the final injury report. He was limited on Wednesday but put in full practices on Thursday and Friday. The hip isn’t a concern heading into this weekend’s game vs. the Browns.

Ravens RB J.K. Dobbins (knee) is out for Sunday's game vs. the Browns. He didn't practice all week, and it's unclear if he'll miss more time beyond Week 7. Dobbins' absence leaves Baltimore with RBs Kenyan Drake, Justice Hill and Mike Davis. Drake is the best bet to lead a committee attack and is in the RB3 mix.

Giants WRs Kadarius Toney (hamstring) and Kenny Golladay (knee) are out for Sunday's game vs. the Jaguars. What else is new? Darius Slayton (26 routes), Marcus Johnson (26), Richie James (13) and Wan'Dale Robinson (12) operated as New York's top 4 WRs last week. Robinson is the only potential fantasy option -- and he's a risky play until we see his route rate climb.

Bengals WR Ja'Marr Chase (hip) is not listed on the final Week 7 injury report. He was limited on Wednesday and Thursday but put in a full practice on Friday. Chase will be ready for his usual role vs. the Falcons this weekend.

The Browns have ruled CB Denzel Ward (concussion) out for Sunday's game against the Ravens. EDGE Jadeveon Clowney (ankle) is questionable. He has played just once since Week 2.

Commanders TE Logan Thomas (calf) is out for Sunday's game vs. the Packers. TE John Bates (hamstring) is listed as questionable. If Bates can't go, Washington would be down to TEs Cole Turner and Armani Rogers. Avoid this situation in Week 7 fantasy lineups.
