Fantasy Football News & Latest NFL Updates

Shark Bites are the latest fantasy football news & NFL updates. Draft Sharks has been in business since 1999. And when we started, redraft was the dominant form of fantasy football. Check out what we've learned about this most basic form of fantasy football along the way.

Chargers WR Mike Williams (ankle), WR Keenan Allen (hamstring) and TE Gerald Everett (groin) were all limited on Thursday for the 2nd straight practice. We'll see what they're able to do tomorrow and then how they're listed on the final injury report for Sunday night's game vs. the Chiefs.

Chiefs WR JuJu Smith-Schuster (concussion) remained sidelined on Thursday. He has very little chance to be cleared in time for Sunday night's game vs. the Chargers. Smith-Schuster should be on fantasy benches.

Giants WR Wan'Dale Robinson (hamstring) did not practice on Thursday. That follows a limited practice, so it looks like Robinson hurt his hamstring on Wednesday. We'll get another update on his status tomorrow, but fantasy owners who were hoping to use Robinson this week should start making other plans.

Lions WR Josh Reynolds (back) returned to a limited practice on Thursday. We'll see if he can make it back for this weekend's game against the Giants, but he shouldn't be in your Week 11 fantasy plans.

Jets WR Corey Davis (knee) remained sidelined on Thursday. It's looking like he'll miss this weekend's game vs. the Patriots, leaving Denzel Mims as a starting outside WR opposite Garrett Wilson.

Eagles WRs A.J. Brown (ankle) and DeVonta Smith (knee) remained limited in Thursday's practice. Neither guys appears in danger of missing this weekend's game vs. the Colts, but check back tomorrow for Philly's final injury report.

Texans WR Brandin Cooks (hip, wrist) returned to a full practice on Thursday. He'll be available for this weekend's game vs. the Commanders but is a shaky WR3 after seeing his snaps scaled back last week.

Browns TE David Njoku (ankle) returned to a limited practice on Thursday. It's his 1st practice of any kind since going down in Week 7. We'd still consider Njoku iffy for this weekend's game vs. the Bills, but check back tomorrow for another update on his status.

Ravens RB Gus Edwards (hamstring) put in another limited practice on Thursday. He's seemingly on track to return for this weekend's game vs. the Panthers, but we'll get another update on his status tomorrow.

Ravens TE Mark Andrews (knee, shoulder) remained limited in Thursday's practice. We'll see what he does tomorrow and how he's listed on the final injury report for this weekend's game vs. the Panthers.

Bears TE Cole Kmet (thigh) returned to a limited practice on Thursday. That should have him on track to play vs. the Falcons this weekend, but check back tomorrow for another update.

7:16pm EST 11/17/22

Packers WR Randall Cobb (ankle) is officially active for tonight's game vs. the Titans. We're expecting him to step back in as Green Bay's primary slot receiver, but Cobb would be a weak fantasy play. He topped 3 catches in just 1 of 5 games to open the season.

Titans DT Jeffery Simmons (ankle) is active for tonight’s game against the Packers. He’s ready to use in IDP lineups

Broncos WR Jerry Jeudy (ankle) remained sidelined on Thursday. He's looking unlikely to play vs. the Raiders this weekend, but we'll get another update on Jeudy's status for that one tomorrow.

Raiders WR Davante Adams (abdomen) was limited for the 2nd straight practice on Thursday. There's been nothing to suggest that his availability for this weekend's game vs. the Broncos is in question, but we'll get another update on Adams' status tomorrow.

Vikings WR Justin Jefferson (toe) remained limited in Thursday's practice. We've still heard no concern about his availability for this weekend's game vs. the Cowboys, but Jefferson's status is worth checking back on tomorrow.

6:26pm EST 11/17/22

The Chiefs placed WR Mecole Hardman (abdomen) on IR. We still don't have any details on his injury, but he's out at least the next 4 games. Hardman is droppable in most fantasy leagues. His absence opens up opportunity for WR Kadarius Toney -- although it's worth noting that WR Justin Watson ran more routes than Toney last week. Toney should be owned in all fantasy leagues at this point, but Watson is also worth stashing in deeper setups.

Cowboys RB Ezekiel Elliott (knee) is expecting to return for Sunday's game vs. the Vikings, according to ESPN's Ed Werder. “I’m definitely very optimistic about this week," Elliott said Thursday. "Barring any setbacks the next couple of days, I’m feeling good… I think I’m in a good spot.” Elliott is expected to wear a brace on that injured knee, per Werder. We're expecting his workload to be scaled back at least a little, leaving Zeke as just a RB3 in Week 11 fantasy lineups.

Ravens TE Mark Andrews (knee, shoulder) was asked Thursday if he'll play vs. the Panthers this weekend and said, "You never know. I’ve been dying to get out there.” Hmm. Not exactly the answer we were hoping for. We'll continue to track Andrews' status over the next few days, but fantasy owners should at least have a backup plan in place in case Andrews misses Sunday's game.

The NFL is moving Sunday's Bills-Browns game to Detroit, according to The Athletic's Tim Graham. Buffalo is expected to get pounded with 4+ feet of snow over the next few days. Moving from those conditions to a dome is obviously great news for all of the fantasy players in this game.
