Fantasy Football News & Latest NFL Updates

Shark Bites are the latest fantasy football news & NFL updates. Draft Sharks has been in business since 1999. And when we started, redraft was the dominant form of fantasy football. Check out what we've learned about this most basic form of fantasy football along the way.

Cardinals WR A.J. Green (knee) is not listed on the final Week 5 injury report and will play vs. the Eagles on Sunday. He’s not a fantasy option, but his return should push WR Rondale Moore back into the slot (assuming Moore plays through his knee issue).

Cardinals WR Marquise Brown (foot) is not listed on the final Week 5 injury report after putting in a full practice on Friday. He’ll be ready for his usual role vs. the Eagles this weekend.

Cardinals WR Rondale Moore (knee) is questionable for this weekend's game vs. the Eagles. He was added to the injury report and limited on Thursday and then limited again in Friday's practice. We'll look for an update on Moore on Sunday morning. This game doesn't kick off until 4:25 pm ET.

Eagles RB Boston Scott (rib) was limited in practice all week and is listed as questionable for Sunday’s game vs. the Cardinals. He’s not on the fantasy radar, but his absence would be a slight boost for RB Miles Sanders.

Patriots DL Lawrence Guy (shoulder) is out for Sunday's game against the Lions. S Kyle Dugger (knee), CB Jalen Mills (hamstring) and S Adrian Phillips (ribs) are questionable.

Eagles K Jake Elliott (ankle) is out for Sunday’s game vs. the Cardinals. Cameron Dicker will be elevated from the practice squad to replace Elliott.

Patriots WR Jakobi Meyers (knee) was limited in practice all week and is listed as questionable for Sunday’s game vs. the Lions. It’s an excellent matchup, but at less than 100% and with Bailey Zappe under center, Meyers would be a shaky fantasy play.

Patriots TE Jonnu Smith (ankle) is listed as doubtful for Sunday’s game vs. the Lions. That’s theoretically good news for TE Hunter Henry, but he hasn’t done nearly enough early this season to be a bankable Week 5 fantasy play.

Patriots QB Mac Jones (ankle) is listed as doubtful for Sunday’s game vs. the Lions. He got in 3 limited practices this week, so a Week 6 return looks possible. QB Brian Hoyer (concussion) was placed on IR, so it’ll be 4th-round rookie Bailey Zappe under center for New England this weekend.

Eagles CB Avonte Maddox (ankle) is out for Sunday's game against the Cardinals. That will be good news for WR Rondale Moore, if he's back to running primarily out of the slot this Sunday. Eagles outside CB Darius Slay, meanwhile, carries no injury designation into the game after leaving Week 4 early with a forearm issue.

Texans TE Brevin Jordan (ankle) is out for Sunday’s game vs. the Jaguars. TE Pharaoh Brown was released earlier this week, so it’ll be O.J. Howard and Jordan Akins at TE on Sunday.

Chargers TE Gerald Everett (hamstring) isn’t listed on the final Week 5 injury report. He was added and limited on Thursday but returned to a full practice on Friday. Everett looks safe to use in Week 5 fantasy lineups.

Lions WR T.J. Hockenson (hip) isn’t listed on the final Week 5 injury report. He went no practice Wednesday, limited Thursday, full Friday – the same routine he followed last week before exploding for 179 yards and 2 TDs.

The Lions on Friday waived K Austin Seibert. Michael Badgley -- who joined the practice squad earlier in the week -- will step in for Sunday's game against the Patriots.

Chargers K Dustin Hopkins (right quad) is questionable for Sunday's game against the Browns. It's an injury to his kicking leg, so we'd try to find a replacement rather than trusting Hopkins even if active.

Lions RB D'Andre Swift (shoulder, ankle) is out for Sunday’s game vs. the Patriots. He’s tentatively expected back after Detroit’s Week 6 bye. Jamaal Williams gets another game as lead back this weekend.

Chargers WR Joshua Palmer (ankle) is questionable for Sunday's game against the Browns. He managed limited practices all week. We'll check his status Sunday morning. If Palmer's good to go, then Keenan Allen's continued absence -- he'll miss a 3rd straight game with his hamstring injury -- leaves room for plenty of upside. If Palmer can't go or is limited, then DeAndre Carter will be worth a look in deep leagues and DFS formats.

Lions WRs D.J. Chark (ankle) and Quintez Cephus (foot) are out for Sunday's game vs. the Patriots. WR Josh Reynolds (ankle) is listed as questionable after getting in limited practices on Thursday and Friday. We'll see if he's available come 11:30 am ET on Sunday.

The Chargers have ruled WR Keenan Allen out for the 3rd straight game with his hamstring injury. Allen missed practice every day this week. That seems like a setback vs. Week 4, when Allen managed limited workouts Wednesday and Thursday before sitting out Friday. We'll see about his status for Week 6. The Chargers' bye doesn't come until Week 8.

Lions WR Amon-Ra St. Brown (ankle) is listed as questionable for this weekend's game vs. the Patriots. He returned to a limited practice on Friday -- his 1st since going down in Week 3. It looks like St. Brown at least has a chance to play on Sunday. We'll look for an update on his status on Sunday morning and get Detroit's inactives around 11:30 am ET.
