Fantasy Football News & Latest NFL Updates

Shark Bites are the latest fantasy football news & NFL updates. Draft Sharks has been in business since 1999. And when we started, redraft was the dominant form of fantasy football. Check out what we've learned about this most basic form of fantasy football along the way.

Falcons TE Kyle Pitts (hamstring) missed his 2nd straight practice on Thursday. He's in real danger of missing this weekend's game vs. the Bucs. We'll see if Pitts practices tomorrow and how he's listed on the final injury report.

Dolphins WR Tyreek Hill was added to Thursday's injury report with a quad and limited in practice. We don't have any other details right now. We'll see what Hill does in Friday's practice and how he's listed on the final injury report.

Dolphins WR Jaylen Waddle (groin) returned to a limited practice on Thursday. He's on track to play vs. the Jets this weekend, but it'd be nice to see him get in a full practice tomorrow.

Seahawks RB Rashaad Penny (shoulder) returned to a full practice on Thursday. He'll be ready to lead Seattle's backfield vs. the Saints this weekend.

Saints QB Jameis Winston (back, ankle) missed practice again on Thursday. At this point, the smart money is on QB Andy Dalton making another start this weekend vs. Seattle. We'll get another update on the situation tomorrow.

Saints WR Michael Thomas (foot) missed practice again on Thursday. He seems unlikely to play vs. the Seahawks this weekend, but we'll see if his outlook improves at all tomorrow.

Chargers TE Gerald Everett was added to Thursday's injury report with a hamstring and limited in practice. That has his availability for this weekend's game vs. the Browns in question. Check back tomorrow for another update.

Chargers WR Keenan Allen (hamstring) missed practice again on Thursday. He's looking like a long shot to play vs. the Browns this weekend, but we'll get Los Angeles' final injury report tomorrow.

As expected, Broncos RB Latavius Murray is a healthy scratch for tonight's game vs. the Colts. Expect him to make his Broncos debut next week. RB Devine Ozigbo was elevated from the practice squad today and is active. He figures to see most of his action on special teams. We're expecting RB Melvin Gordon to handle most of the backfield work, with RB Mike Boone mixing in.

Patriots QB Mac Jones (ankle) remained limited in Thursday's practice. QB Brian Hoyer (concussion) was placed on IR, knocking him out for at least the next 4 games. That means it'll be Bailey Zappe under center for New England this weekend if Jones can't go.

Lions TE T.J. Hockenson (hip) returned to a limited practice on Thursday. He should be ready for his usual role vs. the Patriots this weekend.

Lions WRs D.J. Chark (ankle) and Josh Reynolds (ankle) returned to limited practices on Thursday. Both guys are now trending toward being available for this weekend's game vs. the Patriots. WR Quintez Cephus remained sidelined and looks unlikely to play in that one. Check back tomorrow afternoon for another update on Detroit's Week 5 WR situation.

Lions WR Amon-Ra St. Brown (ankle) remained sidelined for Thursday's practice. At this point, he's looking unlikely to play vs. the Patriots on Sunday. St. Brown gets a Week 6 bye to heal up.

Bears RB David Montgomery (ankle) returned to a limited practice on Thursday -- his 1st since going down early in Week 3. It gives Montgomery a chance to play against the Vikings on Sunday. We should have a better idea of his status when we get Chicago's final injury report tomorrow afternoon.

Jaguars WR Zay Jones (ankle) remained limited in Thursday's practice. We'll see what he does on Friday and how he's listed on the final injury report for this weekend's game vs. the Texans.

Bills TE Dawson Knox (foot, hamstring) remained sidelined on Thursday. He appears to be in real danger of missing this weekend's game vs. the Steelers, but we'll get another update on his status tomorrow.

Bills WR Isaiah McKenzie (concussion) returned to a limited practice on Thursday. That at least gives him a shot to be cleared in time for Sunday's game vs. the Steelers. We'll get another update on McKenzie's progress tomorrow.

Steelers WR Diontae Johnson was added to Thursday's injury report with a hip and limited in practice. That usually means the player was injured in practice. We'll see what Johnson is able to do on Friday and how he's listed on the final injury report for this weekend's game vs. the Bills.

After putting in a limited practice on Wednesday, Giants WR Kadarius Toney (hamstring) did not practice on Thursday. We'll see if this is a setback or a planned day off. Regardless, Toney shouldn't be in your Week 5 fantasy plans. WRs Wan'Dale Robinson (knee) and Richie James (ankle) were both limited Thursday and seem on track to play vs. the Packers Sunday morning.

Cowboys WR Ceedee Lamb sat out Thursday's practice with a groin issue, but it doesn't sound like he's in danger of missing Sunday's game against the Rams. "I'm fine. I'm good. I don't want to scare nobody," he said, per Yahoo's Jori Epstein. We'll watch for his Friday status.
