Fantasy Football News & Latest NFL Updates

Shark Bites are the latest fantasy football news & NFL updates. Draft Sharks has been in business since 1999. And when we started, redraft was the dominant form of fantasy football. Check out what we've learned about this most basic form of fantasy football along the way.

Titans WR Treylon Burks (concussion) remained sidelined on Wednesday. The rookie still has a lot of progress to make in order to be cleared for this weekend's game vs. the Chargers. We'll update his status again tomorrow.

Raiders RB Josh Jacobs (quad, hand) was limited in Wednesday's practice. He played through what looked like a painful hand injury in last Thursday night's loss to the Rams. He should be available for this weekend's game vs. the Patriots, but we'll get another update on Jacobs tomorrow.

Patriots WR Jakobi Meyers (concussion) got in a limited practice on Wednesday. We'll see if he can get cleared in time to play vs. the Raiders this weekend.

Patriots RB Rhamondre Stevenson (ankle) did not practice on Wednesday. RB Damien Harris (thigh) was limited. We'll keep a close eye on this backfield over the next few days, leading up to Sunday's game vs. the Raiders. Kevin Harris and Pierre Strong are the healthy RBs on the active roster. RB J.J. Taylor is on the practice squad.

Patriots WR DeVante Parker (concussion) did not practice on Wednesday. He's unlikely to play vs. the Raiders this weekend after being concussed on Monday night.

Broncos QB Russell Wilson (concussion) did not practice on Wednesday. He's looking unlikely to be cleared in time for this weekend's game vs. the Cardinals, which would leave Brett Rypien under center.

Broncos WRs Courtland Sutton (hamstring) and Kendall Hinton (hamstring) did not practice on Wednesday. We'll see how they progress throughout the week. If they're unable to play vs. the Cardinals on Sunday, WR Jerry Jeudy and TE Greg Dulcich will be the clear top 2 receiving options for Denver.

8:41pm EST 12/14/22

Cardinals WR Rondale Moore (groin) has been placed on IR. With only 4 games remaining, his 2022 season is over. Moore averaged 8.0 targets, 5.9 catches and 59 yards in 7 healthy games this season -- but he's now missed 12 of 34 games through 2 NFL seasons. Moore also had tons of trouble staying healthy at Purdue. He remains a solid hold in dynasty leagues but will be a double-digit round pick in early 2023 redrafts.

Jets QB Mike White (rib) was limited in Wednesday's practice. He figures to play through this injury vs. the Lions this weekend, but we'll keep an eye on his status over the next few days.

Jets WR Corey Davis (concussion) did not practice on Wednesday. He's not a good bet to play vs. the Lions this weekend, which is good news for WRs Garrett Wilson and Elijah Moore.

Lions RB D'Andre Swift is not listed on the Week 15 injury report. Swift has averaged 14.5 carries, 4.5 targets and 143.0 total yards in 2 games when he wasn't on the injury report this season. He mustered just 5.1 carries, 4.5 targets and 42.8 total yards per game when on the injury report. We're not necessarily saying that Swift is about to go for 140+ total yards vs. the Jets this weekend -- but he's a more comfortable fantasy play if he can remain off the injury report.

Saints TE Juwan Johnson (ankle) was limited in Wednesday's practice. He missed New Orleans' last game before the Week 14 bye, but it looks like he has a shot to make it back for Sunday's game vs. the Falcons. Johnson will be just a TE2 if he plays.

Jaguars QB Trevor Lawrence (toe) did not practice on Wednesday. He played -- and played very well -- through this injury last week, so he should be fine for Sunday's game vs. the Cowboys.

Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes is on the Week 15 injury report with a right hand. He was a full-go in practice, and ESPN's Adam Teicher confirms that Mahomes is fully expected to play vs. the Texans this weekend. We'll keep an eye on the situation.

Chiefs WR Kadarius Toney (hamstring) put in a limited practice on Wednesday. He was limited in practice all last week before missing the Broncos game. Toney is expected back for this weekend's game vs. the Texans, but he can't be trusted in fantasy lineups.

Texans RB Dameon Pierce (ankle) did not practice on Wednesday. He's expected to miss at least this weekend's game vs. the Chiefs, leaving Houston's backfield to some combination of Dare Ogunbowale, Rex Burkhead, Royce Freeman and Gerrid Doaks.

Texans WRs Brandin Cooks (calf) and Nico Collins (foot) did not practice on Wednesday. If they miss this weekend's game vs. the Chiefs, WR Chris Moore will be in play as a low-end option in PPR leagues.

Bears QB Justin Fields missed Wednesday's practice with an illness. The good news: That shoulder is no longer listed on the injury report. So, assuming he gets over that illness by Sunday, Fields should be a full-go vs. the Eagles.

Bears WR Chase Claypool (knee) did not practice on Wednesday. We don't have any other details, but it's a concern with Chicago coming off the bye week. Claypool would be a fantasy flier assuming he plays vs. the Eagles this weekend.

Steelers RB Najee Harris (hip) did not practice on Wednesday. He sat out the last 2 Wednesdays before playing on Sunday -- but this is a new injury. We'll get another update on Harris tomorrow. Jaylen Warren would be the top fantasy option in Pittsburgh's backfield if Harris misses Sunday's game vs. the Panthers.
