Fantasy Football News & Latest NFL Updates

Shark Bites are the latest fantasy football news & NFL updates. Draft Sharks has been in business since 1999. And when we started, redraft was the dominant form of fantasy football. Check out what we've learned about this most basic form of fantasy football along the way.

Dolphins WR Tyreek Hill (ankle) was limited in Tuesday's practice. He got a bit banged up in Sunday night's loss to the Chargers but was able to play through it. Hill should be fine for Saturday night's game vs. the Bills.

Dolphins RB Jeff Wilson (hip) did not practice on Tuesday. HC Mike McDaniel labeled him "day-to-day" on Monday, but Wilson certainly seems to be in danger of missing Saturday night's game vs. the Bills. We'll update his status again tomorrow.

The Browns didn't practice on Tuesday, but WR Amari Cooper (hip) was listed as "DNP" on the estimated injury report. Cooper admitted that he aggravated his hip injury on the first play of last week's game. He ended up playing his usual snap allotment but caught just 2 of 7 targets. We'll track Cooper's status over the next few days, leading up to Saturday's game vs. the Ravens.

Ravens QB Lamar Jackson (knee) did not practice on Tuesday. ESPN's Adam Schefter reported Sunday that Jackson's "most realistic return date" is Week 16, so we're not expecting him to play vs. the Browns on Saturday. QB Tyler Huntley (concussion) got in a limited practice on Tuesday, which gives him a shot to be cleared by Saturday. We'll update Baltimore's QB situation again tomorrow.

Packers RB Aaron Jones was on the field for Tuesday's post-bye-week practice, according to ESPN's Rob Demovsky. Jones was unable to make it through the Week 13 win over the Bears, but it looks like he'll be available for Monday night's game vs. the Rams. We'll get Green Bay's first official practice report of the week on Thursday.

An MRI on Cardinals QB Kyler Murray's right knee confirmed a torn ACL. That ends Murray's 2022 season and gives him just about 9 months to get ready for the start of the 2023 campaign. We'd consider him iffy for Week 1 -- and unlikely to have his usual rushing ability until much closer to the end of 2023. Murray just signed a 5-year, $230.5 million deal in July that ties him to Arizona through the 2028 season. He's not realistically cuttable until after the 2026 season.

The NFL last week fined Saints EDGE Cameron Jordan -- as well as 2 coaches and the franchise -- for allegedly faking an injury late in the Week 13 loss to the Buccaneers. But the team and player both say MRI the next day revealed a mid-foot sprain in Jordan's left foot that he has been getting treated for through the bye week. We'll see about Jordan's status for Sunday's game against the Falcons, but he returned to that Bucs game. So we'd bet he'll be ready to play.

Mary Kay Cabot of the Cleveland Plain Dealer reports that Browns WR Amari Cooper aggravated his hip injury on the 1st play of Sunday's loss to the Bengals. Within that context, it's positive that he played on and trailed Donovan Peoples-Jones by just 5 routes for the lead among WRs. Of course, Cooper also managed just 2 catches among 7 targets. We'll see what practice participation and his coaches say about him this week.

Cardinals DL Zach Allen left Monday night's game (who didn't?) against the Patriots with a hand injury. We'll keep an eye on his status this week for IDP lineups. Allen delivered a sack and a pass deflection before leaving. It was his 2nd game in a row with 1 of each. Allen has 10 QB hits over his past 5 games. Denver presents an upside Week 15 matchup if Allen is ready.

Bengals EDGE Trey Hendrickson broke his right wrist in Sunday's win over the Browns, according to ESPN's Ben Baby. He finished the game before revealing his injury to the training staff. HC Zac Taylor said Monday that he's not yet ready to put Hendrickson on IR. We'll see whether the pass-rusher can play with the wrist casted. It seems wise to bet on Hendrickson missing at least Week 15, though. Baby says Joseph Ossai would likely start in Hendrickson's absence. We've liked the upside on the 22-year-old since he arrived as a 3rd-round pick last year.

Patriots TE Hunter Henry snagged all 3 of his targets for 70 yards in Week 14. While his volume proved disappointing — especially with DeVante Parker exiting early with a concussion — the output turned out just fine in a plus matchup with Arizona. Next up for Henry is a neutral matchup with the Raiders.

Browns LB Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah is awaiting further testing results on the left foot he injured in Sunday's loss to the Bengals. Mary Kay Cabot of The Cleveland Plain Dealer reports, however, that there's a chance the 2nd-year LB lands on IR. Deion Jones led Browns LBs in playing time against Cincinnati and should be the favorite to do so for however long JOK might be out. Cleveland just lost starter Sione Takitaki to an ACL tear in Week 13. Tony Fields II looks like the next man up behind Jones but played just 16% of snaps vs. the Bengals. We wouldn't be looking to start him in Week 15 IDP lineups.

Texans RB Dameon Pierce is expected to miss "at least" 1 game with a "relatively mild high-ankle sprain," a source tells insider Aaron Wilson. It sounds like Pierce could end up missing a couple of games but is expected back this season. Houston released RB Eno Benjamin on Tuesday, leaving Dare Ogunbowale and Rex Burkhead as the healthy RBs on the active roster. RB Royce Freeman is on the practice squad. Hopefully you don't need to mess with this situation in Week 15 fantasy lineups.

Bears RB Khalil Herbert (hip) is on track to come off IR when first eligible next week. "He’s getting ready to go,” HC Matt Eberflus said Monday. “He’s been hitting his max speeds. His jumps look good, and the power in his legs look great. So, we’re excited about that." Herbert averaged 11.3 carries over his last 4 games, so he could be useful in deeper non-PPR leagues down the stretch. He, of course, is also the David Montgomery handcuff once healthy.

WR Cole Beasley is coming out of retirement to re-join the Bills, NFL Network's Mike Garafolo reports. Beasley is 33 now but remained effective as a short-range slot receiver for Buffalo last season, tallying an 82-693-1 line across 16 games. He'll join the practice squad for now but figures to be elevated to the active roster soon. We'll see if he's ready to play vs. the Dolphins on Saturday night. Beasley would be a desperation fantasy play at this point of the season, but his return is bad news for WR Isaiah McKenzie and TE Dawson Knox.

A source tells ESPN's Josh Weinfuss that there's "little doubt" QB Kyler Murray has a torn right ACL. “Doesn’t look good," HC Kliff Kingsbury said after the loss. Murray is scheduled for an MRI on Monday, so we should get confirmation on his status later today. A torn ACL would end his 2022 season and threaten his availability for the start of the 2023 campaign.

Chargers WR Mike Williams returned from an ankle injury to post 6-116-1 on 6 targets in Week 14. Justin Herbert chucked 51 passes, so the involvement was disappointing. Still, playing 65% of the snaps, the veteran looked healthy following a 2-game absence. Fantasy managers should start him with confidence this week against a poor Tennessee pass D.

Patriots RB Rhamondre Stevenson suffered an apparent left ankle injury in the 1st quarter of Monday night's game vs. the Cardinals. He was able to get off the field under his own power. Stay tuned for an update.

Update: Stevenson is officially questionable to return with an ankle injury.

Update: Stevenson returned midway through the 2nd quarter.

Update: Stevenson was ruled out at halftime.

Patriots WR DeVante Parker left in the 1st quarter of Monday night's game vs. the Cardinals for a concussion check. He appeared woozy on the field, so we doubt he's cleared to return to this one.

Update: Parker has been ruled out with a head injury.

Cardinals QB Kyler Murray went down with a non-contact injury on the 3rd play from scrimmage in Monday night's game vs. the Patriots. Murray had to be carted off the field and is certainly done for the night. We'll update Murray's status when we know more. QB Colt McCoy has replaced Murray.

Update: Murray has a knee injury and is officially "questionable" to return, the team announced.

Update: Murray has been downgraded to out.
