Fantasy Football News & Latest NFL Updates

Shark Bites are the latest fantasy football news & NFL updates. Draft Sharks has been in business since 1999. And when we started, redraft was the dominant form of fantasy football. Check out what we've learned about this most basic form of fantasy football along the way.

The Colts have ruled CB Kenny Moore (ankle) out for Sunday night's game against the Cowboys. That can only help the matchup for WR CeeDee Lamb, who was already an easy starter.

Jaguars WR Zay Jones (chest) was limited in practice all week and is listed as questionable for Sunday’s game vs. the Lions. We’ve heard nothing to suggest that Jones is in danger of missing this one, but check back around 11:30 am ET on Sunday for Jacksonville’s inactives.

Steelers EDGE T.J. Watt (ribs) is questionable for Sunday's game against the Falcons. He did manage limited practices throughout the week and seems likely to play. We'll check Watt's status Sunday morning -- barring some update before then.

Update: Steelers beat writer Nick Farabaugh of Pittsburgh Sports Now tweeted Friday: "Yeah, I think T.J. Watt will play."

Jaguars RB Travis Etienne (foot) was limited in practice all week and is listed as questionable for Sunday’s game vs. the Lions. HC Doug Pederson said Friday, though, that Etienne is “good to go.” We’ll keep an eye out for any reports on Etienne’s projected workload, but he’s a pretty much a must-start unless we hear that he’ll be limited on Sunday.

Bears QB Justin Fields (shoulder) is not listed on the final Week 13 injury report after getting in full practices on Thursday and Friday. He’ll be back under center vs. the Packers this weekend. Fields carries elevated risk playing through this left shoulder injury, but we know all about the upside – especially against a Green Bay defense that just coughed up 157 rushing yards to Eagles QB Jalen Hurts.

Giants WR Darius Slayton (illness) is listed as questionable for this weekend's game vs. the Commanders. He didn't practice on Thursday or Friday. Guys are usually able to play through illnesses, but you'll need to check back around 11:30 am ET on Sunday to make sure Slayton is active.

Giants TE Daniel Bellinger (eye) was limited in practice all week and is listed as questionable for Sunday’s game vs. the Commanders. The rookie seemingly has a good chance to return for this one but shouldn’t be in fantasy lineups.

Giants WR Richie James (knee) is listed as questionable for this weekend's game vs. the Commanders. He got in limited practices on Thursday and Friday and should be available come Sunday. But he's a weak fantasy play at less than 100%.

Rams QB Matt Stafford (neck) is out for Sunday's game vs. the Seahawks. He's cleared the concussion protocol, HC Sean McVay said Friday, but is still dealing with the neck injury. McVay also announced Friday that QB John Wolford will get the start this weekend but that QB Bryce Perkins will also be available. The Athletic's Jourdan Rodrigue believes the Rams might use both QBs, which we saw back in Week 10. It's obviously a situation to avoid in fantasy lineups.

Browns TE David Njoku (knee) is out for Sunday's game vs. the Texans. He had just gotten over a high-ankle sprain and then hurt his knee in last week's win over the Bucs. We'll see if Njoku can make it back for Week 14, but he wasn't able to practice at all this week. TE Harrison Bryant will step back in as Cleveland's lead TE on Sunday but remains a shaky fantasy play. He totaled just 3 catches on 3 targets in the 2 games Njoku missed a few weeks ago.

Ravens RB J.K. Dobbins (knee) won't play vs. the Broncos this weekend, HC John Harbaugh said Friday. Dobbins returned to practice this week after undergoing arthroscopic knee surgery in late October and has a chance to make it back for Week 14. He's a fine stash in fantasy but is unlikely to be anything close to a league-winner. Gus Edwards will operate as Baltimore's lead back vs. Denver on Sunday.

Bucs RB Leonard Fournette (hip) was a full participant in Thursday's practice. That should put him in line to return for Monday night's game vs. the Saints. The question now becomes how snaps and touches will be divvied between Fournette and rookie Rachaad White. In Fournette's last game, White got the start, but Fournette tallied 14 carries and 1 target to White’s 11 carries and 0 targets before exiting with that hip injury.

Bucs WR Russell Gage (hamstring) was limited in Thursday's practice. We'll see if he can make it back for Monday night's game vs. the Saints, which would be his first action since Week 7. Gage won't be a bankable fantasy play if he does suit up against New Orleans.

Saints TE Juwan Johnson missed Thursday's practice with an ankle injury. Perhaps that explains why he played a season-low 47% of the offensive snaps last week. We'll see if Johnson is able to get back on the field tomorrow, ahead of Monday night's game vs. the Bucs.

Colts TE Jelani Woods (shoulder, quad) missed his 2nd straight practice on Thursday. The rookie broke out for a 8-98 line in Monday night's loss to the Steelers but is now in danger of missing Sunday night's game vs. the Cowboys. We'll see how Woods is listed on the final injury report tomorrow. TE Kylen Granson (illness) has been a full-go in practice this week and should be back for the Dallas game.

Raiders RB Josh Jacobs (calf) remained limited in Thursday's practice. We're expecting him to play through this injury vs. the Chargers on Sunday, like he did last weekend when he dismantled the Seahawks.

Chargers WR Mike Williams (ankle) remained sidelined on Thursday. He's a long shot to play vs. the Raiders this weekend.

Bengals RB Joe Mixon (concussion) was limited again in Thursday's practice. It means that he still hasn't fully cleared the protocol. We're still tentatively expecting Mixon to play vs. the Chiefs this weekend, but we'll continue to keep you updated on his progress.

Bengals WR Ja'Marr Chase (hip) remained limited in Thursday's practice. He's fully expected to return for this weekend's game vs. the Chiefs, but we'll see how he's listed on the final injury report tomorrow.

49ers RB Christian McCaffrey (knee) returned to a limited practice on Thursday. “I feel great,” he said afterward. There's still a chance that the 'Niners need to scale back McCaffrey's snaps and/or touches due to that knee tendinitis vs. Miami this weekend, but he remains a must-start in fantasy lineups.
