Fantasy Football News & Latest NFL Updates

Shark Bites are the latest fantasy football news & NFL updates. Draft Sharks has been in business since 1999. And when we started, redraft was the dominant form of fantasy football. Check out what we've learned about this most basic form of fantasy football along the way.

The Broncos have designated RB Mike Boone (ankle) to return from IR. That allows him to practice and gives the team 3 weeks to decide whether to activate him. We'll see how soon he can return to a backfield currently controlled by Latavius Murray.

Raiders RB Josh Jacobs (calf) was limited in Wednesday's practice. NFL Network's Tom Pelissero set off alarms with a Tuesday tweet that suggested Jacobs might not play vs. the Chargers this weekend. But getting in a limited practice on Wednesday -- after dominating with this injury this past Sunday -- suggests that Jacobs will be available. We'll get another update on his status tomorrow.

Chargers WR Mike Williams (ankle) remained sidelined on Wednesday. That doesn't bode well for his chances of returning for this weekend's game vs. the Raiders, but we'll continue to keep you updated on Williams' status.

Bengals RB Joe Mixon (concussion) got in a limited practice on Wednesday. He still has some work to do to clear the protocol, but Mixon is trending toward returning for this weekend's game vs. the Chiefs. We'll get another update on his progress on Thursday afternoon.

Bengals WR Ja'Marr Chase (hip) was limited in Wednesday's practice. He confirmed afterward that he's planning to play vs. the Chiefs this weekend. "We're going to see how I feel later in the week, but I'm expecting to take some reps," Chase said. We'll continue to keep a close eye on his status, but Chase can be penciled into Week 13 fantasy lineups.

Chiefs RB Jerick McKinnon (hamstring) did not practice on Wednesday. If he's unable to play vs. the Bengals this weekend, Kansas City would be down its pass-catching back -- and an average of 5.8 targets per game over the last 4. We'll get another update on McKinnon tomorrow.

Chiefs WR Kadarius Toney (hamstring) remained sidelined on Wednesday. Fantasy owners shouldn't be counting on having Toney in Week 13 lineups.

Dolphins RB Raheem Mostert (knee) was limited in Wednesday's practice. He got in just a limited practice last Friday before missing the Texans game. HC Mike McDaniel has seemed optimistic about Mostert's chances of returning for Sunday's game vs. the 49ers, but we'll keep an eye on him over the next few days.

Giants WR Richie James (knee) did not practice on Wednesday. He never exited the Thanksgiving loss to Dallas, so we're tentatively expecting James to be available for this weekend's game vs. the Commanders. But we'll get another update on his status tomorrow.

Giants TE Daniel Bellinger (eye) got in a limited practice on Wednesday -- his 1st since going down in Week 7. We'll see if the rookie can make it back for Sunday's game vs. the Commanders, but he shouldn't be in your Week 13 fantasy plans.

Jets RB Michael Carter (ankle) did not practice on Wednesday. He reportedly has a low-ankle sprain that isn't considered serious, but Carter is certainly in danger of missing this weekend's game vs. the Vikings. His absence would leave rookie Zonovan Knight as New York's likely lead back, with Ty Johnson and James Robinson behind him.

Lions RB D'Andre Swift is off this week's injury report for the 1st time since Week 1. He's been battling ankle and shoulder since the opener and been limited to 4.6 carries and 4.6 targets per game since returning in Week 8. It's certainly worth noting, though, that Swift was a full participant in practice both of the past 2 weeks. So we wouldn't take being removed from the injury report as a sign that his role is set to grow significantly. But we'll certainly be keeping an eye on it in Sunday's game vs. the Jaguars.

Jaguars RB Travis Etienne (foot) got in a limited practice on Wednesday. There's been optimism that Etienne will be able to play vs. the Lions this weekend -- and it's encouraging that he got on the field early in the week. We'll get another update on his status tomorrow.

Bears QB Justin Fields (shoulder) was limited in Wednesday's practice. He was limited all last week before missing the Jets game, so this doesn't really tell us much about his Week 13 status. We'll continue to monitor Fields' status over the next few days, leading up to Sunday's game vs. the Packers.

Packers WR Romeo Doubs (ankle) got in a limited practice on Wednesday -- his 1st since going down in Week 9. We'll see if Doubs is ready to play vs. the Bears this weekend, but we'd expect him to return as no better than the #4 WR behind Allen Lazard, Christian Watson and slot man Randall Cobb.

Ravens QB Lamar Jackson was limited in Wednesday's practice with a quad issue. A team spokesman said Jackson left practice early to get treatment on the quad. Jackson did not do his usual appearance with the media afterward. Check back tomorrow for another update on his status.

Ravens TE Isaiah Likely (ankle) got in a limited practice on Wednesday. That gives him a shot to return for this weekend's game vs. the Broncos, but we'll track the rookie's progress over the next few days.

Broncos WRs Jerry Jeudy (ankle) and K.J. Hamler (hamstring) remained sidelined on Wednesday. That has both guys trending toward missing this weekend's game vs. the Ravens. We'll see if they're able to get on the practice field 1 of these next 2 days.

Steelers RB Najee Harris (oblique) did not practice on Wednesday. While his injury reportedly isn't serious, Harris seems no better than 50/50 to play vs. the Falcons this weekend. RB Jaylen Warren (hamstring) was a full go on Wednesday -- confirmation that he'll be back for Sunday's game. We'd expect Warren to lead Pittsburgh's backfield in touches -- ahead of Benny Snell and Anthony McFarland -- if Harris sits.

The Patriots list WR Jakobi Meyers (shoulder) as questionable for Thursday night's game vs. the Bills. He was limited in practice all week. Meyers was able to battle through this injury on Thanksgiving but wound up playing just 29% of New England's offensive snaps. We're expecting Meyers to play tomorrow, but he'll carry elevated risk in Week 13 fantasy lineups.
