Fantasy Football News & Latest NFL Updates

Shark Bites are the latest fantasy football news & NFL updates. Draft Sharks has been in business since 1999. And when we started, redraft was the dominant form of fantasy football. Check out what we've learned about this most basic form of fantasy football along the way.

Ravens RB J.K. Dobbins led Sunday's backfield in the loss to Buffalo, collecting 13 carries and 4 targets. Dobbins delivered both of the team's TDs, running 1 in from 4 yards out and catching Lamar Jackson's lone TD pass from 1 yard out. Dobbins averaged just 3.2 yards across his 13 rushes, though, and 5.5 yards on his 4 receptions. Nearly all of his 22 receiving yards came on a single 20-yard reception. Justice Hill handled another 8 carries and 2 targets but left early with a hamstring injury. We'll see about Hill's status for Week 5, as well as whether Gus Edwards is ready to come off the PUP list.

Broncos RB Javonte Williams is "feared to have suffered a serious knee injury," a source tells NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. Williams is scheduled for a Monday MRI to get a better look at the knee, "but there is not a lot of optimism surrounding the injury," Rapoport adds. We should get an official diagnosis on Williams tomorrow.

Ravens QB Lamar Jackson threw for just 144 yards and a TD in Sunday's rain-soaked loss to the Bills, adding a pair of INTs. WR Rashod Bateman led the team in targets (6) but caught just 3 balls for 17 yards. TE Mark Andrews managed only 2 receptions for 15 yards among 5 targets. WR Devin Duvernay matched that target count and caught 4 passes for a team-high 51 yards. Jackson rebounded his fantasy line somewhat with 73 rushing yards on 11 attempts.

Broncos EDGE Randy Gregory left Sunday's game with a right knee injury. Mike Klis of 9News reported that he was carrying crutches as he left the locker room after the game but not using them. We'll see about the severity of this injury.

Steelers S Terrell Edmunds suffered a concussion in Sunday's loss to the Jets. We'll see how quickly he proceeds through the league protocol.

Steelers S Minkah Fitzpatrick came away from Sunday's loss to the Jets with a knee injury. HC Mike Tomlin said afterward that he expected to have more info on the injury Monday.

Bills QB Josh Allen threw for just 213 yards and 1 TD on Sunday against the Ravens defense that allowed more QB fantasy points than any other through 3 weeks. He made up for that to some degree with 70 yards and a TD rushing. The constant rain certainly didn't help the passing game, and might have contributed to drops by multiple Buffalo receivers. Allen and the Bills get Pittsburgh and Kansas City next, ahead of a Week 7 bye.

Broncos HC Nathaniel Hackett said after the loss to the Raiders that RB Javonte Williams will undergo an MRI on his injured right knee on Monday. Hackett had no further update on Williams' injury. But, per ESPN's Jeff Legwold, Williams left the locker room on crutches. We should learn more about his status tomorrow, but this obviously looks like a significant injury. Williams' absence would leave Denver's backfield to Melvin Gordon and Mike Boone.

Update: Mike Klis of 9News of Williams' injury that the "fear is it is serious and he will be sidelined for [an] extended period."

Steelers DL Cameron Heyward left Sunday's loss to the Jets with elbow and ankle injuries. HC Mike Tomlin said after the game he didn't have much info yet. We'll see what Monday reveals about Heyward's injuries.

Giants QB Tyrod Taylor left Sunday's win over the Bears with a concussion. He had entered the game after Daniel Jones sprained his left ankle. Jones took back over after Taylor left. We'll see about the health of both players leading up to a Week 5 visit to Green Bay.

Raiders LB Denzel Perryman left Sunday's win over the Broncos early with a concussion. He had just returned from the ankle sprain that knocked him out of Week 1 early. We'll see how Perryman progresses through the league protocol. Divine Deablo worked as the corps leader with Perryman out before. Jayon Brown got playing time in the 70-80% range.

Cowboys WR Noah Brown suffered a neck injury in Sunday's win over the Commanders. We'll see about the official diagnosis and return timeline.

Panthers S Jeremy Chinn left Sunday's loss to the Cardinals with a hamstring injury. We'll see about his status for Week 5 and beyond.

Packers S Adrian Amos left in the 1st half of Sunday's game against the Patriots with a concussion. We'll see about his status for Week 5.

With Alvin Kamara (ribs) out, RB Mark Ingram started Sunday's game against the Vikings. But he left briefly with in injury early in the 2nd half, and Latavius Murray wound up leading the team in carries. Murray rushed 11 times for 57 yards and a TD. Ingram totaled just 30 yards on 10 rushes, adding 3 receptions for 13 yards. We'll see about Kamara's status heading into Week 5.

Saints TE/whatever Taysom Hill found the end zone in Sunday's loss to the Vikings in London. Hill logged 5 rushing attempts in the game and ran 5 routes. His 2-yard rushing score came on his lone carry inside the red zone. Be careful of overrating his 2 rushing scores in 3 appearances.

Saints QB Andy Dalton completed 20 of 28 passes (71.4%) for 236 yards (8.4 yards per attempt) and 1 TD in Sunday's narrow loss to the Vikings in London. He spread the targets around, with WR Chris Olave drawing a team-high 7, WR Marquez Callaway getting 6, TE Juwan Johnson seeing 4 and no one else topping 3. Olave's 4 receptions and 67 yards led the team. Four other Saints caught 3 balls. Jarvis Landry came away with a mere 2 catches for 7 yards on 2 targets. We'll see about QB Jameis Winston's status for the Week 5 home date with Seattle.

Chiefs WR Marquez Valdes-Scantling (abdomen) is active for tonight’s game vs. the Bucs. He got in just 2 limited practices this week and probably won’t be at 100% tonight. MVS isn’t a recommended Week 4 fantasy play.

Bucs WRs Russell Gage (hamstring), Chris Godwin (hamstring) and WR Julio Jones (knee) are active for tonight’s game vs. the Chiefs. They all figure to be operating at less than 100% – and it’s unclear exactly how snaps will be divvied behind WR Mike Evans. We’d try to avoid the 3 of them if possible, but Gage sits highest in the Week 4 WR Rankings. WR Breshad Perriman is inactive with his knee and hamstring injuries, while WR Scott Miller is a healthy scratch.

After a pair of down weeks, Vikings WR Justin Jefferson racked up 10 catches for 147 yards in Sunday's win over the Saints in London. He added a 3-yard rushing score as well. Jefferson's 13 targets stood 4 ahead of Adam Thielen and 9 ahead of #3 Irv Smith. Thielen caught 8 balls for 72 yards. Smith contributed 23 yards on 3 catches. Dalvin Cook was the only other Viking with more than 1 reception.
