Fantasy Football News & Latest NFL Updates

Shark Bites are the latest fantasy football news & NFL updates. Draft Sharks has been in business since 1999. And when we started, redraft was the dominant form of fantasy football. Check out what we've learned about this most basic form of fantasy football along the way.

The Lions have ruled EDGE Trey Flowers (knee) out for Sunday's game against the Browns. S Tracy Walker (concussion) is questionable. We'll check his status Sunday.

Dolphins DL Christian Wilkins (quad) is questionable for Sunday's game against the Jets. He put in limited practices the past 2 days after opening the week on the sideline. LB Andrew Van Ginkel (back) is also questionable. He participated on a limited basis all week. S Brandon Jones finished the week with a full Friday practice after 2 limited days and does not carry an injury status into the game.

Saints RB Alvin Kamara (knee) is out for Sunday’s game vs. the Eagles. He was limited on Wednesday before missing Thursday and Friday’s practices, so it looks like he suffered a setback. Kamara’s absence again leaves Mark Ingram as New Orleans’ lead back. He handled 14 carries and 7 targets on an 85% snap rate last week. That’s RB1 usage, but it’s worth noting that the Saints will be without both LT Terron Armstead and RT Ryan Ramczyk on Sunday.

Dolphins QB Tua Tagovailoa (finger) is not listed on the final injury report. He was a full-go in practice on both Thursday and Friday. That finger should be close to 100% this week, making Tua a viable fantasy spot starter in a plus matchup vs. the Jets.

Browns QB Baker Mayfield (knee, foot, shoulder) is not listed on the final injury report. He was a full participant in Friday’s practice but admitted this week that he’s as banged up as he’s ever been. Even in Sunday’s plus matchup vs. the Lions, Mayfield is an unexciting QB2.

Lions RB Jamaal Williams (thigh) was limited in practice all week and is listed as questionable for Sunday’s game vs. the Browns. He’s not a fantasy option, but if he returns he’d likely steal a handful of touches from RB D’Andre Swift.

Bears EDGE Khalil Mack needs foot surgery and will miss the rest of the season. He and the team had hoped that rest would allow him to recover enough to return, but that proved to not be the case. We'll see about Mack's recovery heading into 2022. Trevis Gipson looks like he'll continue as the primary guy opposite Robert Quinn. He has 0 QB hits in elevated playing time over the past 3 contests. Chicago also placed ILB Danny Trevathan (knee) back on IR, which he spent a stint on earlier this year. That re-opens the spot for Alec Ogletree next to Roquan Smith. For this week, the Bears have ruled DL Akiem Hicks (ankle) out for this week's game against the Chargers. S Eddie Jackson (hamstring) is questionable. He put in limited practices Thursday and Friday after missing Wednesday's workout.

Lions QB Jared Goff (oblique) is listed as doubtful for Week 11. It's confirmation that QB Tim Boyle will make his first career start vs. the Browns on Sunday. Fire up the Cleveland DST.

Bills LB Tremaine Edmunds (hamstring) is questionable for Sunday's game against the Colts. He missed practice Wednesday and Thursday after sitting out last week's win over the Jets. Edmunds returned for a limited Friday workout, though. We'll check his status Sunday. IDP managers might be better off if he doesn't play, as an active Edmunds would carry elevated re-injury risk. If he's out, A.J. Klein would see a full-time role again.

Colts LB Darius Leonard (ankle, hand) is questionable for Sunday's game against the Bills. He played nearly every snap against Jacksonville in Week 10 and then put in limited practices Thursday and Friday. HC Frank Reich told the team website Friday that he's hopeful Leonard will play.

Cowboys WR Amari Cooper has landed on the COVID list. He's out for Sunday's game vs. the Chiefs and the Thanksgiving game vs. the Raiders. Cooper's absence should mean target boosts for CeeDee Lamb, Michael Gallup and Dalton Schultz. Cedrick Wilson is the favorite for #3 WR duties, but Noah Brown and Malik Turner might also mix in.

The Steelers have ruled EDGE T.J. Watt out for Sunday night's game against the Chargers. He suffered hip and knee injuries in the Week 10 tie with Detroit and didn't practice this week. We'll see whether Watt can make it back for Week 12. Pittsburgh also ruled out lead CB Joe Haden, good news for Chargers WR Mike Williams.

49ers RB Elijah Mitchell (finger) is listed as doubtful for Sunday’s game vs. the Jaguars. So much for that early-week optimism after Mitchell’s Tuesday finger surgery. RB JaMycal Hasty (ankle) is out for Week 11, leaving San Francisco with RBs Jeff Wilson and Trey Sermon. Sermon might actually get on the field for the first time since Week 5, but Wilson should operate as the clear lead back. He’s a RB2 with upside.

Steelers WR Chase Claypool (toe) is not listed on the final injury report after putting in a full practice on Friday. That suggests that he’ll be at least close to 100% for Sunday night’s game vs. the Chargers. Los Angeles ranks 2nd in adjusted fantasy points allowed to WRs, and Claypool might be catching passes from QB Mason Rudolph. It leaves him as just a WR3 for Week 11.

Eagles TE Dallas Goedert (concussion) put in a full practice on Friday and isn't listed on the final injury report. He's been cleared to play vs. the Saints this weekend. Philadelphia' super run-heavy offense has left Goedert as a low-end TE1.

Ravens RB Latavius Murray (ankle) was limited in practice all week and is listed as questionable for Sunday’s game vs. the Bears. If he plays, we expect him to slot in behind RB Devonta Freeman. Murray shouldn’t be in Week 11 fantasy lineups.

Ravens WR Marquise Brown (thigh) is listed as questionable for this weekend’s game vs. the Bears. He only got in a limited practice on Friday. We haven’t heard anything to suggest that Brown is in danger of missing this one, but you’ll need to check back Sunday morning to make sure he's active.

Packers WR Allen Lazard (shoulder) did not practice all week and is listed as doubtful for Sunday's game vs. the Vikings. His absence should make WRs Marquez Valdes-Scantling and Randall Cobb close to full-time players. Both guys are still just fantasy fliers, though.

Packers RB Aaron Jones (knee) is out for Sunday’s game against the Vikings. We’ll see if he can make it back for Week 12, but a Week 14 return -- after a Week 13 bye -- seems most likely. RB A.J. Dillon should get heavy volume this weekend.

Packers QB Aaron Rodgers (toe) is not listed on the final injury report. He only got in a limited practice on Friday, but we never sensed any concern about his status. The toe shouldn't be a factor in Sunday's game vs. the Vikings.
