Fantasy Football News & Latest NFL Updates

Shark Bites are the latest fantasy football news & NFL updates. Draft Sharks has been in business since 1999. And when we started, redraft was the dominant form of fantasy football. Check out what we've learned about this most basic form of fantasy football along the way.

Jets WR Corey Davis (knee) was a full-go in Wednesday's practice. That puts him on track to return for this weekend's game vs. the Bears. Davis should join Garrett Wilson as New York's outside WRs, with Elijah Moore in the slot.

Dolphins RB Raheem Mostert (knee) did not practice on Wednesday. We don't have any details on the knee issue, but it's a concern considering Mostert's injury history and the fact that Miami is coming off a bye. We'll see if he's able to get back on the field tomorrow, ahead of Sunday's game vs. the Texans.

Ravens QB Lamar Jackson missed Wednesday's practice and is on the injury report with a hip. We don't have any other details, but HC John Harbaugh said that he expects Jackson to play vs. the Jaguars this weekend. Jackson, of course, has been underwhelming for a while now, and the hip issue doesn't help. We'll keep a close eye on his status over the next few days.

Ravens RB Gus Edwards (hamstring, knee) put in a limited practice on Wednesday. He was limited last week before missing the Panthers game, so Edwards' status for this Sunday's game vs. the Jaguars remains uncertain. We'll get another update tomorrow.

Browns TE David Njoku (ankle, knee) did not practice on Wednesday. He returned from his high-ankle sprain last week but is now also listed with a knee injury. We'll track Njoku's status over the next few days, but you should look elsewhere for Week 12 fantasy lineups.

Browns WR David Bell (concussion) did not practice on Wednesday, putting his status in doubt for this weekend's game vs. the Bucs. The rookie has emerged as Cleveland's #3 WR but is still on the redraft radar.

Bucs RB Leonard Fournette (hip) got in a limited practice on Wednesday. HC Todd Bowles said that Fournette's hip is still sore, but getting on the field this early in the week gives him a good chance to play vs. the Browns this weekend. We'll continue to track Fournette's status over the next few days.

Patriots WR DeVante Parker (knee) is listed as questionable for Thursday night's game vs. the Vikings. He was limited in practice all week after returning to last Sunday's game, so Parker should be available for this one. But he played just 40% of the snaps last week, making him a shaky option even in Thanksgiving DFS contests.

Giants WR Richie James (knee) got in 2 limited practices this week and is listed as questionable for Thursday's game vs. the Cowboys. He's expected to take over for Wan'Dale Robinson as New York's slot receiver but is only in play in Thanksgiving DFS contests.

Giants TE Daniel Bellinger (eye) is out for Thursday's game vs. the Cowboys. Lawrence Cager has emerged as New York's lead TE, running 38 routes and catching 2 of 3 targets for 20 yards last week.

Lions WR Josh Reynolds (back) is listed as questionable for Thursday's game vs. the Bills. He got in limited practices on Tuesday and Wednesday. Out since Week 8, Reynolds will only be in play in Thanksgiving DFS contests if he's active tomorrow.

Packers QB Aaron Rodgers has been playing through a broken right thumb suffered in Week 5, he told reporters Wednesday. We've known that Rodgers had a thumb injury but didn't know the extent until now. Rodgers downplayed the issue and said the thumb is "feeling better this week," but it's likely played a part in his underwhelming season.

Rams QB Matt Stafford is out for Sunday's game vs. the Chiefs, HC Sean McVay said. Stafford is in the concussion protocol and is being evaluated for a neck injury after experiencing numbness in his legs during last week's loss to the Saints. It certainly seems like Stafford could miss more time beyond Week 12. QB Bryce Perkins is in line to make his 1st career start on Sunday.

The Jaguars claimed former Rams RB Darrell Henderson off waivers. Henderson shouldn't impact RB Travis Etienne's volume much, if at all. But he is worth rostering in fantasy football as the Etienne handcuff.

Bucs HC Todd Bowles said Wednesday that RB Leonard Fournette's hip is still "pretty sore." Bowles added that they'll see how Fournette progresses the rest of the week but wouldn't say whether he'll be able to play vs. the Browns on Sunday. We'll continue to keep a close eye on the situation. RB Rachaad White would obviously get a big boost if Fournette sits.

Bengals RB Joe Mixon remains in concussion protocol, HC Zac Taylor said Wednesday. Mixon still has an outside chance to be cleared for this weekend's game vs. the Titans, but fantasy owners should be planning on being without him for Week 12 for now. If Mixon sits, Samaje Perine will be a volume-based, lower-end RB2 in a tough matchup.

Bears QB Justin Fields told reporters on Wednesday that he's dealing with a separated left shoulder with partially torn ligaments, per ESPN's Courtney Cronin. "Basically an AC joint" injury, Fields added. He's reportedly been cleared to practice, and considering he was allowed to speak to the media, Fields seems likely to start vs. the Jets on Sunday. The question is whether the shoulder injury will limit his rushing volume and/or efficiency.

Cardinals HC Kliff Kingsbury said Wednesday that QB Kyler Murray (hamstring) is "trending in the right direction" to return for Sunday's game vs. the Chargers. Murray said that he "feels good" and expects to start that game. Arizona has seemingly played it very safe with this hamstring, so we're expecting Murray to be very close to 100% if he suits up this weekend.

Broncos WR Jerry Jeudy missed practice on Wednesday. He’s still nursing the ankle injury that kept him out of Week 11.

Bears QB Justin Fields (shoulder) has been cleared to practice, according to CBS' Jonathan Jones. Fields remains day-to-day, though, and is still uncertain for Sunday's game vs. the Jets, Jones adds. We'll continue to monitor Fields' status leading up to that one. Fantasy owners should secure a backup plan in case Fields ends up missing Week 12.
