Fantasy Football News & Latest NFL Updates

Shark Bites are the latest fantasy football news & NFL updates. Draft Sharks has been in business since 1999. And when we started, redraft was the dominant form of fantasy football. Check out what we've learned about this most basic form of fantasy football along the way.

Bills RB James Cook carried only twice (for 4 yards) and caught 2 of 5 targets for 14 more in Thursday's win over the Lions. He did tie for 3rd on the team in targets, but even that put him way behind leaders Stefon Diggs (15) and Isaiah McKenzie (10). RB Devin Singletary rushed 14 times for 72 yards and caught his lone target for 8 yards.

Bills WR Isaiah McKenzie caught 6 of 10 targets for a team-high 96 yards and Buffalo's 1st TD in Sunday's win at Detroit. That's more targets than McKenzie drew in the previous 4 games combined. WR Stefon Diggs endured an inefficient day, drawing 15 targets but catching only 8. He wound up with a solid fantasy line, thanks to a late 5-yard TD catch and a 36-yarder to set up the game-winning FG. WR Gabriel Davis added 4 receptions for 38 yards among 5 targets, while TE Dawson Knox contributed just 2 catches for 17 yards (2 targets). The next 2 weeks bring the season's 1st matchup with the Patriots and then a rematch with the Jets.

Bills QB Josh Allen was far from peak performance in Sunday's narrow win at Detroit, completing just 57% of his passes for 253 yards and an INT. But he also delivered 2 TD throws and ran for 78 yards and another TD to post a strong score for fantasy football lineups. Allen now gets just the usual layoff before next Thursday night's visit to New England. After that comes a home rematch with the Jets, who limited him to 205 yards in Week 9 and snagged 2 INTs.

Cowboys EDGE Demarcus Lawrence (foot), LB/EDGE Micah Parsons (knee, ankle) and S Donovan Wilson (illness) are active for today's game against the Giants.

Giants WR Richie James (knee) is active for today's game against the Cowboys. Let's hope you're not in position to need him in your fantasy football lineup, though.

Bills EDGE Von Miller left in the 1st half of Sunday's game against the Lions with a right knee injury. He has been ruled out with what has been deemed at least a knee sprain. There's fear that he tore the ACL. We'll see what doctors say. Miller previously tore his right ACL back in 2013.

11:16am EST 11/24/22

Lions WR Josh Reynolds (back) is active for today's game against the Bills. It'll mark the 1st time he's played since Week 8, so it's tough to know how big a role he'll fill. Reynolds managed only limited practices the past 2 days.

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports that Cowboys EDGE Demarcus Lawrence and LB/EDGE Micah Parsons are expected to play today against the Giants. Further, he adds that Lawrence has been playing through a stress fracture in 1 of his feet. Lawrence said earlier in the week that he's dealing with issues in both feet and that his right knee "hurts worse than the feet," according to SI.com. Lawrence played a season-low 40% of the snaps last time out, but that followed a season-high 72%. He also has sacks in 3 straight contests. So the physical issues add risk, but there's still plenty of value to putting him into IDP fantasy football lineups.

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports that "there is a good chance" the Lions will activate WR Jameson Williams for Week 13 if he makes it through that practice week "unscathed." The rookie reportedly didn't take on "full-speed" practices this week but will next and has been at "top speed" in his drills for rehab. Williams is OK to stash, but he's not going to be startable in Week 13 fantasy football lineups. We'll see how quickly he can ramp up playing time and target share beyond that.

Cowboys EDGE Demarcus Lawrence (foot), LB Micah Parsons (knee, ankle) and S Donovan Wilson (illness) are questionable for Thursday's game against the Giants. Parsons said Tuesday that he'll be ready to play. Wilson didn't pop up on the injury report until missing Wednesday's practice. Lawrence played through the same issue last week, so we'd bet on him playing. We'll check the status on all 3 Thursday afternoon.

The Bills have ruled LB Tremaine Edmunds (groin, heel) and EDGE Greg Rousseau (ankle) out for Thursday's game against the Lions. It's not surprising for either player. We've had LB Tyrel Dodson in the Week 12 IDP rankings instead of him for most of the week. Buffalo will also likely be without EDGE A.J. Epenesa (ankle), who is doubtful.

49ers WR Deebo Samuel (hamstring) was limited in Wednesday's practice. He missed Week 8 with a hamstring injury, although it's unclear if this is related. We'll get another update on Samuel tomorrow.

Chiefs WR JuJu Smith-Schuster (concussion) was a full participant in Wednesday's practice. That puts him on track to return for this weekend's game vs. the Rams, barring a setback between now and then.

Chiefs WR Kadarius Toney (hamstring) did not practice on Wednesday. We're not expecting him to play vs. the Rams this weekend after hurting his hamstring again in last Sunday night's win over the Chargers.

Rams TE Tyler Higbee missed Wednesday's practice with a knee issue. HC Sean McVay labeled him "day to day." Check back tomorrow for another update on Higbee's status for Sunday's game vs. the Chiefs.

Cardinals QB Kyler Murray (hamstring) was a full participant in Wednesday's practice. It's his 1st full practice since going down in Week 9, putting Murray on track to return for this weekend's game vs. the Chargers.

Cardinals WRs Rondale Moore (groin) and Greg Dortch (thumb) did not practice on Wednesday. Both of Arizona's slot receivers are in danger of missing this weekend's game vs. the Chargers. We'll see if they're able to practice tomorrow.

Chargers WR Mike Williams (ankle) did not practice on Wednesday. HC Brandon Staley said earlier in the day that Williams was expected to be limited. The re-aggravation of his high-ankle sprain reportedly isn't serious, but fantasy owners shouldn't be banking on Williams playing vs. the Cardinals this weekend.

Chargers TE Gerald Everett (groin) was limited in Wednesday's practice. He was left off the final injury report last Friday, added as questionable on Saturday and then missed Sunday night's game vs. the Chiefs. We'll see if Everett is able to make it back for this weekend's plus matchup vs. the Cardinals.

Bengals WR Ja'Marr Chase (hip) returned to a limited practice on Wednesday. QB Joe Burrow expects Chase to play vs. the Titans this weekend, but HC Zac Taylor has remained non-committal. We'll get another update on Chase tomorrow.
