Fantasy Football News & Latest NFL Updates

Shark Bites are the latest fantasy football news & NFL updates. Draft Sharks has been in business since 1999. And when we started, redraft was the dominant form of fantasy football. Check out what we've learned about this most basic form of fantasy football along the way.

Texans WR Nico Collins (hamstring) is not listed on the final Week 11 injury report. He practiced all week, including full workouts on Friday and Saturday, and will play against the Cowboys on Monday night. The Texans were cautious bringing Collins back from this Week 5 hamstring injury, so we're expecting him to be ready for a full slate of snaps in this one. That lands Collins inside the top five of our Week 11 WR Rankings.

The Cowboys added WR CeeDee Lamb to the injury report Saturday with a back injury that has him questionable for Monday night's game against the Texans. HC Mike McCarthy reportedly indicated it's not a big deal, though.

The Patriots released WR Tyquan Thornton. The 2022 second-rounder opened the season with a sizeable role but has been a healthy scratch in four of the past five games. That draft capital will likely land Thornton another shot elsewhere, but there's no reason to believe in a turnaround. Thornton can be dropped from dynasty rosters.

Raiders TE Michael Mayer has been activated from the NFI list, setting him up to play against the Dolphins on Sunday. Mayer has been out for personal reasons since Week 3. He totaled just four catches on seven targets over the first three games of the season and shouldn't be in fantasy lineups. TE Brock Bowers ran a route on just 66% of pass plays with Mayer to start the season, spiking to 83% without Mayer over the last six games. But we suspect that was more a case of the Raiders easing Bowers in early in his rookie campaign. We'll keep an eye on the situation, but we're not expecting Mayer to impact Bowers' playing time.

Bengals Edge Trey Hendrickson is officially questionable for Sunday night's game against the Chargers. Hendrickson followed a limited Wednesday practice by missing workouts Thursday and Friday. The Athletic's Paul Dehner Jr. reports that Hendrickson isn't traveling with the team but will travel separately and is expected to play.

Chargers Edge Khalil Mack is questionable for the second straight week thanks to a groin injury that kept him out of practice once again. Mack missed all three practices last week before playing through a "questionable" tag last week. He made it through just 4 snaps in that game. Edge Joey Bosa, meanwhile, put in his first full practice since Week 3 on Friday and is off the final injury report for the first time since that week as well. He said Friday that they plan to increase his playing time from the 19-20 snaps of the past three games to "about 30, 30-plus."

49ers WR Jauan Jennings (ankle) is not listed on the final Week 11 injury report. He was a full-go on Friday after being limited on Thursday. Jennings is safe to keep in fantasy lineups as an upside WR3.

49ers TE George Kittle (hamstring) is listed as questionable for Sunday’s game vs. the Seahawks. He got in limited practices on Thursday and Friday. HC Kyle Shanahan hasn’t expressed much concern about Kittle’s availability for this one, so we’re expecting him to play. But we’ll look for further updates on Kittle. We won’t get San Francisco’s inactives until a little after 2:30 pm ET on Sunday.

Dolphins WR Tyreek Hill (wrist) is not listed on the final Week 11 injury report. He went from no practice on Wednesday to a limited workout on Thursday to full participation on Friday. Hill will continue to play through the torn ligament in his wrist that might eventually require surgery. He comes with a lower floor than usual but remains very tough to leave out of fantasy lineups.

Colts WR Michael Pittman (back) put in a full week of practice and isn’t listed on the final injury report for Sunday’s game vs. the Jets. With QB Anthony Richardson back under center, though, Pittman is no better than a WR4. He’s finished outside the top 50 WRs in PPR points in four of five games with Richardson this season.

Ravens QB Lamar Jackson (knee, rest) is not listed on the final Week 11 injury report. He was limited in Thursday’s practice but a full-go on Friday. Jackson remains a must-start for this weekend’s game vs. the Steelers.

Ravens TE Isaiah Likely (hamstring) practiced all week and is not listed on the final injury report. He’ll be back for Sunday’s showdown vs. the Steelers. Likely is a low-floor fantasy play, but his return puts a dent in TE Mark Andrews’ playing time and target projections.

Jaguars RB Tank Bigsby (ankle) has been ruled out for Sunday’s game vs. the Lions after missing practice all week. His absence makes RB Travis Etienne a more palatable Week 11 fantasy play, although his team is still a 14-point underdog with a week-low 16.5-point implied total. D'Ernest Johnson will be Jacksonville's No. 2 RB in Detroit.

Steelers RB Jaylen Warren (back) is listed as questionable for this weekend’s game vs. the Ravens. He was added to the injury report and did not practice on Thursday but returned to a limited practice on Friday. We’ll look for more information on Warren and get Pittsburgh’s inactives around 11:30 am ET on Sunday. RB Najee Harris (ankle) is not listed on the final injury report after putting in full practices on Thursday and Friday.

Seahawks TE Noah Fant (groin) is out for Sunday’s game vs. the 49ers. Rookie TE A.J. Barner replaced Fant as Seattle’s lead TE last time out, posting a 4-27-0 line on seven targets and an 86% route rate. He’d be a desperation season-long play but is a salary-saving option in DFS.

Seahawks WR D.K. Metcalf (knee) put in a full week of practice and isn’t listed on the final injury report. He’s ready for a full workload vs. the 49ers on Sunday. Metcalf checks in 14th in the Week 11 WR Rankings.

Lions TE Sam LaPorta (shoulder) missed practice all week and is out for Sunday’s game vs. the Jaguars. His injury reportedly isn’t serious, so we’ll see if he can make it back for Week 12. Brock Wright and Shane Zylstra will handle TE duties for Detroit this weekend. Neither is a reliable fantasy play.

Saints RB Jamaal Williams (groin) is out for Sunday’s game vs. the Browns. Jordan Mims will continue to serve as the No. 2 RB, with Taysom Hill also mixing in for rushing work behind Alvin Kamara.

Jets WR Davante Adams (wrist, illness) is listed as questionable for this weekend’s game vs. the Colts. He missed the first two practices of the week but was a full participant on Friday. Interim HC Jeff Ulbrich said Friday morning that Adams is expected to play. He can stay penciled into Week 11 fantasy lineups. We’ll get the Jets’ inactives around 11:30 am ET on Sunday.

Bills WR Amari Cooper (wrist) is listed as questionable for Sunday’s game vs. the Chiefs after a limited week of practice. He said Thursday that he expected to play – but would do so with a cast on his injured left wrist. Cooper would be a risky Week 11 fantasy start. WR Keon Coleman (wrist) has been ruled out for Week 11.
