Fantasy Football News & Latest NFL Updates

Shark Bites are the latest fantasy football news & NFL updates. Draft Sharks has been in business since 1999. And when we started, redraft was the dominant form of fantasy football. Check out what we've learned about this most basic form of fantasy football along the way.

Jaguars LB Chad Muma (ankle) is active for today's game against the Cowboys. EDGE Travon Walker (ankle) is inactive. We'd guess Muma will return to the starting lineup and play over LB Devin Lloyd in 2-LB packages. CB Darious Williams (abdomen) is also active.

Saints RBs Dwayne Washington and Eno Benjamin are inactive for today's game vs. the Falcons. That leaves just Alvin Kamara and David Johnson in New Orleans' backfield. Kamara should be in for plenty of touches today.

11:34am EST 12/18/22

Panthers WR D.J. Moore (ankle) is active for today’s game vs. the Steelers. He was downgraded to limited participation on Friday after putting in full workouts the previous 2 days. It’s safe to assume Moore won’t be at 100% today, adding risk to his fantasy profile.

11:33am EST 12/18/22

Chiefs WR Kadarius Toney (hamstring) is active for today’s game vs. the Texans. It’ll be his first action since Week 11. Toney didn’t top a 44% snap rate in any of his 3 games with Kansas City so far and can’t be trusted in Week 15 fantasy lineups.

Jaguars QB Trevor Lawrence (toe) is active for today’s game vs. the Cowboys. He played through this injury last week, smoking the Titans for 368 yards and 3 TDs. This is a much tougher matchup today, but we don’t expect the toe to be a limiting factor.

Saints TE Juwan Johnson (ankle) is active for today’s game vs. the Falcons. He was limited in practice all week and listed as questionable. Johnson would be a desperation fantasy play. TE Adam Trautman (ankle) is also active.

ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports that Jets DT Quinnen Williams (calf) will be inactive for today’s game against the Lions. Williams is officially questionable but missed practice all week. His absence hurts the Jets’ run D (and the pass rush, which is obviously good news for D’Andre Swift and Jamaal Williams.

Bucs WR Julio Jones (knee) is not expected to play vs. the Bengals later today, although a final decision might not come until pregame warmups, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. Jones obviously shouldn't be in fantasy lineups. Jones' absence figures to leave Russell Gage as Tampa’s #3 WR, but he’d be a desperation fantasy play.

Jets QB Mike White has 3 fractured ribs and is not expected to be cleared for this coming Thursday night's game vs. the Jaguars, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. We'll see if QB Zach Wilson can play well enough vs. the Lions today to get another start on Thursday.

Chiefs WR Mecole Hardman (abdomen) was not activated and won't play vs. the Texans today. Hardman got back on the practice field this week and is on track to return for this coming Saturday's game vs. the Seahawks, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.

Steelers QB Mitchell Trubisky will start today's game vs. the Panthers but will be on a "short leash," according to NFL Network. Trubisky and QB Mason Rudolph reportedly split reps in practice this week -- and it sounds like we'll see Rudolph today if Trubisky struggles. Trubisky tossed 3 INTs in relief of QB Kenny Pickett last weekend and has 5 total INTs vs. just 4 TDs this season. This is obviously a situation to avoid in Week 15 fantasy lineups.

Cardinals QB Kyler Murray (knee) is expected to be ready for the start of the 2023 season, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. Murray is reportedly working with a 6-8 month timeline to return -- which is shorter than usual for a torn ACL. Murray is set to undergo surgery after Christmas. Doctors don't believe there's damage to any of Murray's other ligaments, but NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports that there's
associated meniscus damage that will be repaired. We'll keep you updated on Murray's progress throughout the offseason.

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport confirms that Patriots WR Jakobi Meyers (concussion) is expected to play vs. the Raiders today. Meyers got in just 2 limited practices this week. But, considering it was a concussion and he's plenty familiar with the offense, we're expecting him to be ready for a full role in today's plus matchup.

ESPN's Adam Schefter confirms that Cardinals WR Marquise Brown (illness) is expected to play vs. the Broncos today. We're expecting him to be ready for his usual role, so Brown is fine to get into Week 15 fantasy lineups.

ESPN's Adam Schefter reports that Jets DT Quinnen Williams (calf) is "truly a 50-50 call" for today's game against the Lions. He adds that the team won't make that decision until pregame warmups. This indicates plenty of risk for a guy who missed practice all week, even if he turns up active. We've knocked Williams further down our Week 15 IDP rankings.

The Panthers expect WR D.J. Moore (ankle) to play against the Steelers today. Moore opened the week with a pair of full practices after hurting the ankle last Sunday, but he finished with a limited Friday. Between that and Carolina's desire to keep the passing volume low, there's risk to playing Moore today. That's reflected in our Week 15 fantasy football rankings.

The Bengals expect to have both WRs Tee Higgins (hamstring) and Tyler Boyd (finger) in the lineup today against the Buccaneers, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. Both guys are listed as questionable, so we'll watch for pregame confirmation. We'll also keep an eye out for any specifics on Higgins' planned usage after he barely appeared in last week's game.

Patriots RB Rhamondre Stevenson (ankle) has a "good chance" to play today against the Raiders, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. The Pats will still have Stevenson test the ankle pregame, but they did not elevate J.J. Taylor from the practice squad. That indicates confidence in Stevenson's outlook, with rookies Kevin Harris and Pierre Strong Jr. the only other healthy RBs on the active roster. We did add Stevenson to the Week 15 fantasy football rankings and will be watching for confirmation of his status.

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports that Chiefs WR Kadarius Toney (hamstring) is expected to play today against the Texans. It's tough to know just how big a snap share Toney and his nagging hammy will get. He hasn't played since Week 11 and has yet to play more than 28 snaps in a game for the Chiefs. Try not to use him in season-long fantasy football lineups.

Raiders RB Josh Jacobs (quad, hand) is expected to play through his questionable tag today against the Patriots. We haven't doubted the workhorse this week. Keep him locked into your fantasy football lineups.
