Fantasy Football News & Latest NFL Updates

Shark Bites are the latest fantasy football news & NFL updates. Draft Sharks has been in business since 1999. And when we started, redraft was the dominant form of fantasy football. Check out what we've learned about this most basic form of fantasy football along the way.

Ravens TE Mark Andrews (knee, shoulder) is listed as doubtful for Monday night's game vs. the Saints. He didn't practice all week and should obviously be on fantasy benches. Baltimore has a Week 10 bye, so we'll see if Andrews can make it back for Week 11. His absence on Monday night leaves TE Isaiah Likely as the Ravens' lead TE -- and potentially the top target in the passing game with WR Rashod Bateman done for the season. Note, though, that New Orleans ranks 1st in both adjusted fantasy points allowed to TEs and Football Outsiders' TE coverage rankings.

The Falcons are activating RB Cordarrelle Patterson (knee) from IR ahead of Sunday's game against the Chargers. Patterson told The Athletic's Josh Kendall on Friday, "Hopefully, I'll feel 100 percent come Sunday." We're betting that Patterson goes right back to leading the backfield, so try not to use Tyler Allgeier or Caleb Huntley in any fantasy football lineups.

Jets RB James Robinson was added to the injury report on Saturday with a hamstring and is now questionable for Sunday's game vs. the Bills. Robinson played just 22% of New York's offensive snaps in his team debut last week, finishing with 5 carries for 17 yards. He wasn't a recommended fantasy play even before this hamstring injury. His absence on Sunday would be a boost for RB Michael Carter.

Chargers TE Donald Parham has been placed on IR with his hamstring injury. He'll miss at least the next 4 games and can be dropped from all redraft rosters. Parham's absence is a slight boost for TE Gerald Everett.

The Packers have ruled LB De'Vondre Campbell (knee) out for Sunday's game against the Lions. DC Joe Barry said earlier in the week that rookie LB Quay Walker would take over play-calling duties if Campbell couldn't go. That should mean full playing time for Walker, who has moved up our Week 9 IDP rankings. EDGE Preston Smith (shoulder, neck) is questionable for the game after being limited in practice all week.

Seahawks TE Noah Fant (hamstring) is not listed on the final Week 9 injury report. He was a full participant in Friday’s practice after being limited the previous 2 days. Fant will continue splitting TE work with Will Dissly, leaving both guys outside TE1 territory.

Seahawks WR Marquise Goodwin (groin) is out for Sunday’s game vs. the Cardinals. That leaves D’Wayne Eskridge as Seattle’s #3 WR but should just push a few extra targets to WRs D.K. Metcalf and Tyler Lockett.

Cardinals RB James Conner (ribs) was limited in practice all week and is listed as questionable for Sunday’s game vs. the Seahawks. HC Kliff Kingsbury called him a game-time decision on Friday. This is a 4:05 pm ET kickoff, but we’ll look for an update on Conner on Sunday morning. RB Darrel Williams (hip) was placed on IR earlier this week, so Eno Benjamin will control backfield work if Conner sits again.

Bengals WR Ja’Marr Chase (hip) is out for Sunday’s game vs. the Panthers, as expected. He’s still dodged IR as of now, so we'll see if Chase can make it back after Cincinnati's Week 10 bye.

Rams WR Van Jefferson (knee) was limited in practice all week and is listed as questionable for Sunday’s game vs. the Bucs. HC Sean McVay said Friday that Jefferson will play, but it sure looks like he’s not at 100% yet.

Rams RB Cam Akers re-joined the team on Thursday, putting in 2 full practices to end the week. HC Sean McVay was still non-committal when asked Friday whether Akers will play vs. the Bucs this weekend. He shouldn’t be in your Week 9 fantasy plans.

Rams WR Cooper Kupp (ankle) is not listed on the final Week 9 injury report. He went from no practice on Wednesday to a limited workout on Thursday to full participation on Friday. Kupp still carries a bit more risk than usual, but he remains a must-start in season-long lineups vs. the Bucs on Sunday.

Patriots RB Damien Harris (illness) is questionable for this weekend’s game vs. the Colts after getting in just a limited practice on Friday. We’re expecting him to play on Sunday, but it’s certainly possible that his volume and/or effectiveness is impacted. Harris is a TD-dependent fantasy play. Rhamondre Stevenson should lead the backfield in touches again.

Patriots WR DeVante Parker (knee) is out for Sunday’s game vs. the Colts. That leaves Jakobi Meyers, Tyquan Thornton, Kendrick Bourne and Nelson Agholor as New England’s top 4 WRs. Meyers is the only bankable Week 9 fantasy play.

Packers WR Allen Lazard (shoulder) was limited in practice all week and is listed as questionable for Sunday’s game vs. the Lions. HC Matt LaFleur labeled him a game-time decision on Friday. We’ll get Green Bay’s inactives around 11:30 am ET on Sunday. If he plays, Lazard will have plenty of fantasy upside against the league’s 26th-ranked WR defense. WR Christian Watson (concussion) is listed as questionable, but he remained limited in Friday’s practice and seems unlikely to be cleared by Sunday.

Titans RB Derrick Henry is not listed on the final Week 9 injury report. He was on there and limited on Wednesday with a foot and then got Thursday off. But Henry put in a full practice on Friday and will be ready for his usual workhorse role vs. the Chiefs on Sunday night.

Chargers RB Austin Ekeler (abdomen) is not listed on the final Week 9 injury report. He was added on Thursday and limited in practice but returned to a full workout on Friday. Ekeler will be busy vs. the Falcons this weekend with WRs Mike Williams and Keenan Allen out.

Chargers WR Keenan Allen (hamstring) is out for Sunday's game vs. the Falcons. He suffered a setback with that hamstring while training over the bye week and didn't practice at all this week. Allen said he's not returning until he's back to 100%, so consider him iffy for Week 10. WR Mike Williams (ankle) is also out for Sunday's game, while WR DeAndre Carter was added to the injury report on Friday and is listed as questionable with an illness. We'll see if he's able to suit up come Sunday. Josh Palmer should lead Chargers WRs in targets against Atlanta's 31st-ranked WR defense. Los Angeles' other healthy WRs are Michael Bandy and Jason Moore. WRs Joe Reed, John Hightower and Keelan Doss are on the practice squad. RB Austin Ekeler and TE Gerald Everett also project for strong volume this weekend.

The Buccaneers have ruled DB Antoine Winfield Jr. (concussion) out for Sunday's game against the Rams. That will challenge Tampa's slot coverage vs. Rams WR Cooper Kupp.

Lions TE Brock Wright (concussion) is listed as questionable for this weekend’s game vs. the Packers. He was a full participant in Friday’s practice, so Wright is seemingly on track to get cleared and split TE duties with James Mitchell on Sunday.
