Fantasy Football News & Latest NFL Updates

Shark Bites are the latest fantasy football news & NFL updates. Draft Sharks has been in business since 1999. And when we started, redraft was the dominant form of fantasy football. Check out what we've learned about this most basic form of fantasy football along the way.

Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes threw for 338 yards and 2 TDs but also got picked twice in Sunday's loss to the Bills. It was his 1st 300-yard game since Week 1 but the 2nd straight week in which Mahomes reached 40 pass attempts. He gets a trip to San Francisco in Week 7 ahead of the Week 8 bye.

Chiefs RB Clyde Edwards-Helaire led the Chiefs with 9 carries and 33 rushing yards in Sunday's loss to the Bills. He watched RB Jerick McKinnon run 5 more pass routes, however, and drew no targets. McKinnon led the backfield with 3 looks -- catching all 3 for 29 yards. RB Isiah Pacheco caught both of his targets for 9 yards. CEH was not among the 10 Chiefs to draw a target. This contest continued a RB3 work level for Edwards-Helaire. McKinnon and Pacheco drew 2 carries apiece for minimal yardage.

Bills RB Devin Singletary rushed 17 times and drew 5 targets in Sunday's win over the Chiefs. That marked 91.7% of total RB opportunities for the team in the game. Singletary gained 85 yards on the ground and caught 4 passes for 22 yards. He ranked 2nd on the team in targets and receptions. James Cook carried twice for 8 yards, the team's only other 2 RB opportunities. RB Zack Moss hit the game as a heathy scratch.

Bills WR Stefon Diggs racked up a 10-148-1 receiving line on 13 targets in Sunday's win over the Chiefs. He garnered 32.5% of Josh Allen's pass attempts and accounted for 45% of Buffalo's passing yardage for the game. WR Gabriel Davis finished 2nd on the team with 6 targets, catching 3 balls for 74 yards and a TD (from 34 yards out). TE Dawson Knox snagged the other TD passes, 1 of his 3 catches for 37 yards on 3 targets. WR Isaiah McKenzie and RB Devin Singletary tied for 3rd on the team with 5 targets.

Bills QB Josh Allen wound up with 329 yards and 3 TDs passing in Sunday's victory at Kansas City. He completed 27 of 40 throws (67.5%), finding WR Stefon Diggs, WR Gabriel Davis and TE Dawson Knox for TDs. Allen added 32 rushing yards on 12 attempts. He sits 3rd among fantasy QBs for the week, with the Monday night game yet to go.

Seahawks QB Geno Smith threw for 197 yards in Sunday's win over the Cardinals. TE Noah Fant and WR D.K. Metcalf tied for the team target lead with 7. Want caught a team-high 6 passes for a team-high 43 yards. Metcalf managed only 2 receptions for 34 yards. WR Tyler Lockett checked in next with 5 targets, catching only 2 for 17 yards. WR Dee Eskridge was the only other Seahawk with more than 2 receptions. He posted a 3-39 receiving line on 3 targets.

Seahawks RB Kenneth Walker rushed 21 times for 97 yards and a TD in Sunday's win over the Cardinals. He also drew the only 3 targets among Seattle RBs, catching 2 for 13 yards. Walker did trail RB DeeJay Dallas 17-15 in routes, so we'll see whether that target lead holds up. Week 7 presents a lackluster Chargers run defense.

Cardinals TE Zach Ertz tied WR Rondale Moore for the team lead with 10 targets in Sunday's loss to the Seahawks. He caught a team-high 7 passes for a team-leading 70 yards. Moore caught 6 balls for 49 yards. WR Marquise Brown garnered 9 looks, catching 5 for 68 yards. RB Eno Benjamin and WR A.J. Green combined for the remaining 7 targets.

Cardinals QB Kyler Murray delivered 100 yards on 10 rushing attempts in Sunday's loss to the Seahawks. He amassed just 222 passing yards on 23-of-37 passing to go with that, with 0 TDs and 1 INT. Murray took 6 sacks in the game, triple what he had endured in any previous contest. Arizona continues to disappoint on offense. The Cardinals entered 23rd in both overall offensive DVOA, according to Football Outsiders, and 23rd in passing DVOA.

Rams WR Cooper caught 7 of 8 targets for 80 yards in Sunday's win over the Panthers. He led the team in each of those categories, in a game that saw QB Matthew Stafford throw for 253 yards and 1 score. That TD went to WR Allen Robinson, who posted a 5-63-1 receiving line on 6 targets. WR Ben Skowronek and WR Brandon Powell tied for 3rd at 5 targets. Skowronek played 19 more snaps and ran 11 more routes than Powell.

Rams RB Darrell Henderson ran for 1 of the team's 3 TDs in Sunday's win over the Panthers. That came as part of just a 12-43-1 rushing line though (3.6 yards pr carry) and 2-9 receiving on 3 targets. RB Malcolm Brown handled 7 carries (for 15 yards) and caught his lone target for 13 more. Cam Akers, of course, turned up inactive and might be headed for a new team. Henderson did control the playing time, getting 46 snaps vs. 16 for Brown and 3 for Ronnie Rivers. That included a 22-4-1 lead in pass routes run.

Panthers RB Christian McCaffrey rushed 13 times for 69 yards and caught 7 of 8 targets for 89 more in Sunday's loss to the Rams. His 158 total yards constituted 77.8% of Carolina's total net yards for the game. No one else on the team collected more than 22 yards. Starting QB P.J. Walker managed just 60 passing yards for the game, with Jacob Eason coming on for 59 more (primarily thanks to a 49-yard completion to McCaffrey). We'll see about Carolina's QB situation for Week 7. D.J. Moore was the only other Panther to see more than 2 targets. He caught 3 of 7 for just 7 yards.

Packers WR Randall Cobb is believed to have suffered a high-ankle sprain in Sunday's loss to the Jets, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. X-rays came back clean, but Cobb is scheduled for additional testing on that ankle on Monday. If the high-ankle sprain is confirmed, he figures to miss 4+ weeks.

Steelers WR Chase Claypool caught all 7 of his targets in Sunday's win over the Buccaneers to lead the team in receptions and yards (96). He also snagged 1 of Pittsburgh's 2 TD passes. Claypool tied WR Diontae Johnson for the team target lead, with rookie WR George Pickens just 1 target behind. The trio remained close together in targets as well, with all finishing in the 30-34 range.

Steelers RB Najee Harris caught 1 of 2 Steelers TD passes in Sunday's win over the Buccaneers. That came on 1 of his 2 catches for 7 total yards. Harris added a mere 42 rushing yards on 14 carries (3.0 per attempt). He did, at least, work well ahead of rookie Jaylen Warren, who totaled just 2 touches for 2 yards (both on the ground). Harris gets a tough Miami run defense in Week 7 and then a tough-all-over Philly matchup in Week 8.

Buccaneers RB Leonard Fournette racked up 21 carries and 6 targets in Sunday's loss to the Steelers. He managed just 63 yards on the ground (3.0 per attempt) but caught all 6 of his targets for 38 yards and the team's lone TD. Fournette handled 27 of 35 RB opportunities for the game (77.1%). Rookie Rachaad White carried just 4 times for 12 yards and caught 3 of 4 targets for 11 yards.

Buccaneers QB Tom Brady threw for just 243 yards and 1 TD on 25-of-40 passing in Sunday's loss to the Steelers. It was a disappointing outing vs. a Pittsburgh defense that arrived just 24th in Football Outsiders' pass-defense DVOA. On top of that, The Steelers were missing 3 corners and S Minkah Fitzpatrick. Chris Godwin led the team with a 6-95 receiving line on 12 targets, double his nearest teammate. RB Leonard Fournette was the only other Buc with more than 4 targets. WR Mike Evans posted a 4-42 receiving line on his 4 targets. Tampa Bay visits the Panthers in Week 7, before home dates with the Ravens, Rams and Seahawks.

Ravens TE Mark Andrews caught 7 balls or 106 yards and Baltimore's only passing TD in Sunday's loss to the Giants. His 11 targets marked 34.4% of QB Lamar Jackson's 32 attempts for the game, and his yardage a little more than half of the team total. WRs Devin Duvernay and Demarcus Robinson tied for 2nd on the team with 5 targets apiece. Robinson caught 3 for 27 yards, while Duvernay snared just 1 for 14 yards. Baltimore gets the Browns in Week 7.

Ravens RB Kenyan Drake took his team-high 10 carries for 119 yards in Sunday's loss to the Giants, highlighted by a 30-yard TD run. Drake garnered some extra work because RB J.K. Dobbins' repaired knee "tightened up," keeping him from playing the 2nd half. We'll see whether that issue affects Dobbins' availability for Week 7.

Giants QB Daniel Jones threw for just 173 yards in Sunday's win over the Ravens. He tossed TD passes to rookies TE Daniel Bellinger and WR Wan'Dale Robinson. Bellinger led the team with 5 targets catching all of them for 38 yards. Robinson tied Marcus Johnson for 2nd on the team with 4 looks. He caught 3 for 37 yards. RB Saquon Barkley was the only other Giant with more than 2 receptions.
