Fantasy Football News & Latest NFL Updates

Shark Bites are the latest fantasy football news & NFL updates. Draft Sharks has been in business since 1999. And when we started, redraft was the dominant form of fantasy football. Check out what we've learned about this most basic form of fantasy football along the way.

Bills S Micah Hyde and CB Dane Jackson missed practice Wednesday. Both players left Monday night's game with neck injuries that sent them to the hospital that night. We'd bet on neither playing this week but will keep an eye on the situation. S Jordan Poyer was limited with a foot injury. DT Jordan Phillips (hamstring) also missed practice, while DT Ed Oliver (ankle) returned to a limited practice after missing all last week.

Broncos WR Jerry Jeudy (rib, shoulder) did not practice on Wednesday. His injuries reportedly aren't serious, but he's uncertain for Sunday night's game vs. the 49ers. We'll see if he can get back on the practice field tomorrow.

49ers TE George Kittle (groin) was limited in Wednesday's practice. He returned to a limited practice last Friday before missing the Seahawks game, but it seems like he has a legitimate chance to play vs. the Broncos on Sunday night. We'll have another update tomorrow.

Bucs WRs Chris Godwin (hamstring) and Julio Jones (knee) did not practice on Wednesday. Jones seemingly has a better chance than Godwin to play vs. the Packers this weekend. But, with WR Mike Evans suspended, Tampa could be down to WRs Russell Gage, Breshad Perriman and Scotty Miller atop the depth chart.

Cardinals WR Rondale Moore (hamstring) remained sidelined on Wednesday. Fantasy owners obviously can't bank on him returning for this weekend's game vs. the Rams.

Cardinals RB James Conner (ankle) did not practice on Wednesday. His injury reportedly isn't serious, but he's not a lock to play vs. the Rams this weekend. Conner's absence would leave RBs Darrel Williams and Eno Benjamin in something close to a 50/50 committee. Check back tomorrow for another update on Conner.

Chargers QB Justin Herbert (ribs) was limited in Wednesday's practice. His injury is reportedly more of a pain-tolerance issue, so we're tentatively expecting him to play vs. the Jaguars on Sunday. We'll update his status again tomorrow.

Chargers WR Keenan Allen (hamstring) got in a limited practice on Wednesday. It gives him a shot to return for this weekend's game vs. the Jaguars, but we'll continue to keep an eye on his progress over the next few days.

Raiders WR Hunter Renfrow missed Wednesday's practice with a concussion. It's the 1st we've heard of it but has Renfrow's availability for this weekend's game vs. the Titans in question. We'll see if he's able to do anything in Thursday's practie.

Patriots WR Jakobi Meyers (knee) did not practice on Wednesday. He played through this issue last week, although that was after 3 limited practices. We'll see if Meyers is able to get on the field Thursday, ahead of this weekend's game vs. Baltimore.

Ravens QB Lamar Jackson was limited in Wednesday's practice and is on the injury report with a right elbow. Jackson had a protective sleeve on his right arm, per ESPN's Jamison Hensley, and told the media afterward that he didn't throw at all during practice. But neither Jackson nor HC Jim Harbaugh expressed any concern about the QB's availability for Sunday's game vs. the Patriots. “I’m going to throw Sunday – a lot Sunday,” Jackson said. We'll continue to keep an eye on this, but Jackson can stay penciled into Week 3 fantasy lineups.

Ravens RB J.K. Dobbins (knee) put in another full practice on Wednesday. Of course, he was full all last week before missing the Dolphins game, so his status for Sunday's tilt with the Patriots remains uncertain. Baltimore's RBs have been completely ineffective in Dobbins' absence.

Bills TE Dawson Knox (foot) did not practice on Wednesday. He banged up that foot early in Monday night's win over the Titans but was able to return. He should be available for this weekend's game vs. the Dolphins, but we'll get another update on his status tomorrow.

Bills WR Gabriel Davis (ankle) got in a limited practice on Wednesday. He missed Monday night's game vs. the Titans after hurting his ankle in practice on Saturday, but it looks like he has a chance to return for this weekend's divisional clash with Miami. Check back tomorrow for another update.

Colts WR Alec Pierce (concussion) was a full participant in Wednesday's practice. He's on track to return for this weekend's game vs. the Chiefs but isn't a viable fantasy play at this stage.

Colts WR Michael Pittman (quad) got in a limited practice on Wednesday. We'll see how he progresses through the week and whether he's ready to return for Sunday's showdown with the Chiefs.

Chiefs K Harrison Butker (ankle) remained sidelined for Wednesday's practice. His status for this weekend's game vs. the Colts is in question, so fantasy owners should have a backup plan in place.

Saints RB Alvin Kamara (rib) got in a limited practice on Wednesday. It's positive news after he missed practice last Thursday and Friday before ending up inactive for the Bucs game. Kamara seemingly has a shot to return for this weekend's game vs. the Panthers, but we'll update his status again tomorrow.

Lions HC Dan Campbell said Wednesday that RB D'Andre Swift's ankle is "feeling much better" this week than last. Swift won't practice on Wednesday, so he's clearly still not at 100%. But we're tentatively expecting something much closer to a full workload in this weekend's game vs. the Vikings.

Cowboys WR Michael Gallup (knee) "will take a full slate of reps" in practice this week, HC Mike McCarthy said Wednesday. Insider Clarence Hill believes Gallup is "on track" to play vs. the Giants on Monday night. He won't be a Week 3 fantasy option in his 1st game off a torn ACL and with Cooper Rush under center. But Gallup is worth stashing in fantasy leagues of 12+ teams.
